IMPORTANT: Read the entire assemblydirection before starting installation.

1. Install square aluminum block onto utility pole as shown.

2. a) Thread glide into pole base, then b) snap base into bottom of utility pole.

3. Attach bracket to rail and secure with bolts provided.

4. Position pole assembly so that block extends into rail extrusion.

5. Attach pole to bracket with (2) bolts provided.

6. On the bottom of the pole / leg assembly a) Slide two halves of the support plate together, then b) secure them with (2) screws.

7. Route power cords as needed, then refer to page 8 for information to install utility pole into a ceiling.

NOTE: Utility poles can not attach to continuous top benches.

6 Align (4) holes in tabswith holes in pole.

7 Insert tabs in openings,then swing up.

6. Install extension tray to utility pole with (4) screws provided.

7. Install end cover by placing tabs in openings in channel, then swinging up and snapping cover in place.

8. Install extension tray to utility pole with (4) screws provided.

9. Install end caps with screws provided. Install (3) screws per end cap.

NOTE: End cap flanges fit inside the simple tray but outside the extension tray.

1. Remove the ceiling tile where the pole will be placed and raise the utility “C” channel vertical.

2. Cut ceiling tile hole.

3. Assemble ceiling trim plate.

4. Bend retainers up and insert ceilingtrim plate into the ceiling tile cut-out.

5. Place ceiling tile with trim plateback in ceiling.

6. Remove adjacent ceiling tile.

7. Insert the vertical channel through the ceiling tile hole NOTE: If the vertical channel extends above the ceiling tile more than 4 inches mark and cut excess material off before securing to the frame or junction bracket.Deburr exposed edges.

8. Route any power cords, harness and data cables as needed.

9. Snap cover into place.

10. Attach the ceiling bracket to the top of the vertical channel.

11. Secure crossbar to the ceiling grid.

12. Attach slotted adjustment bracket to the cross bar and fully tighten screw.

13. Attach slotted adjustment bracket to the ceiling bracket. Be sure not to fully tighten the screws.

14. Secure junction boxto ceiling bracket andcomplete cabling.

15. Snap the cover in place along thelength of the vertical channel.

16. Tighten screws connecting theslotted adjustment bracket to the ceilingbracket as shown on step 13.
