Overview: Written by established comedy writer Edwin Cannistraci, Side-work follows the

adventures and misadventures of an unlikely two man team of assassins, one from Liverpool,

one from St. Petersburg as they deal with their day to day life in their adopted home of New

York City. The duo consists of 36 year-old Nathan Wilkinson, a stocky overly confident ex-rugby

player and outwardly quiet, yet neurotic 56 year-old Sergei Nikitin.

Nathan and Sergei have taken jobs as a waiter and a bus boy in an upscale, trendy New York

restaurant as their cover while they explore life, love, and friendship in the City, yet maintain

their day-job as killers for hire. While not very good at their careers in food service, they are

naturals at killing or Sergei is at least. Nathan, confident yet a bit of a buffoon, considers

himself a ladies man and has established himself as Sergeis manager, the brains to Sergeis

natural ability to 86 his victims. Sergei on the other hand, isnt in it for the glory. Killing is just

something hes good at so he does it. In his free =me he enjoys reading, watering his plants,


watching the History Channel, etc. Nathan is often coaxing Sergei out of the apartment and tries

to get him to be more sociable. Nathan, in addition to thinking himself a criminal genius,

considers himself a ladies man and is always on the prowl. The two have managed to stay

employed at the restaurant despite their awkwardness and having someone who knows enough

about their identity to want them dead.

The writer Edwin is an established screenwriter who launched his career through the $1,000,000

sale of a comedic blacklist screenplay called Pierre Pierre to Fox. Originally set up as a project

with Jim Carrey, the film now has Russell Brand attached as the lead actor with Borats Larry

Charles attached to direct. Following Pierre Pierre, Universal Films acquired a comedy pitch by

Ed which is being produced by Jay Roach through his Everyman Pictures banner. Ed has also

been successful in television, having sold numerous pitches and pilots including the recent

development of The DiCiccco Brothers by NBC Universals USA Network as a key component

of the networks first push into the sitcom world in over a decade.

Black Alpha Creator: Tom Rasch

There are at least a dozen star systems that are under the protection of

the mighty Guardsmen. The Guardsmen are a combination of folk

hero/royal guard for the magistrate that not only serve the monarch,

but also the people of the Provinces as well. The Amariah are one of

the oldest and most legendary of factions of the Guardsmen, which are

destroyed by a mysterious threat during a rescue mission. With the

Amariah gone, and the Guardsmen numbers reduced as a whole, the magistrate has reassigned

the bulk of the Guardsmen to the more wealthy and influential core systems. Due to the

mysterious threat, and political upheaval, the outlying provinces (which are referred to as the

Fringe Territories) are left unprotected, and as a result, have decayed into lawlessness and

corruption.

Our lead protagonist, Tranden Antares(who grew up in the Fringe) appropriates the ship of a

fallen Guardsmen, and uses these weapons as a means to avenge the destruction of his colony,

of which his family was a casualty. The story has themes of loss, redemption, and renewed

hope.

Dropouts

Throughout the world there exists a hidden culture of squatters who live off of the good

graces of other people willing to give them a place to stay for the night and never really staying

in one place for more than a few nights. Some are kids in college, couch surfing, finding a place

to sleep wherever they are able.

Within this culture exist multiple "classifications" of these individuals ranging from your average

sofa surfer to squatters living in homes that they "inherited" and never paid back the taxes

owed. The squatters have an open door policy letting anyone sleep there who needs a place.

There are also example of young people with money who squat just because they can, but who

arent "respected" members of the squatter community. They are tolerated because they can

provide food for the others. This is a hierarchy and basically hidden community of these people

living happy lives, circulating around the area and the country, just living.

Squatters follows several individual squatters from different places within the squatter hierarchy

and the dramas that go on throughout their daily lives.

Happy Hour Happy Hour is designed to be a weekly show where two noted entrepreneurs travel the United

States (and possibly the world) exploring city by city, the best after work Happy Hours. Each

week after work, a different set of local business people and entrepreneurs will take our hosts

their favorite watering holes where they will discuss the food, drink and environment while

discussing the state of business in that area. In the same vein as No Reservation with Anthony

Bourdain and Three Sheets from Zane Lamprey, this will be a fun look at an ages old business

tradition.

The stories will cover happy hours in the major cities as well in the suburbs that surround them.

We begin in an office at the end of the day and go out after work with different groups.

Sometimes it is with executives, sometimes the workers, but always a fun, insightful time is had.

With a sometimes serious, sometimes light, but always fun look at each happy hour venue, the

hosts will chat with people in the bars, gain insight on the crowd from the bartenders and wait

staff, share laughs and try new foods and specialty drinks from each place, that bring the
