Equivalent fractions are fractions that name the

same amount.

To find equivalent fractions multiply the

numerator and denominator by 1.

Cross Multiply to check for equal fractions

Simplest Form• A fraction in which the numerator

and denominator have no common factors other than 1 is said to be in simplest form.
