Mr. Dhirendra Swarup is serving as the Chairman on the Boards

o FPSB India and Financial Planning Corporation (India) Private

Limited (FPCIL). Mr. Swarup is the Member Convenor o the Financial

Sector Legislative Reorms Commission (FSLRC). He also served as

the Chairman o the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development

Authority (PFRDA) rom where he retired in 2010. Prior to this, he was

also involved in the drating o the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget

Management (FRBM) Act, 2003. He served as Secretary (Expenditure

& Budget) in the Ministry o Finance rom 2004 to 2005. He has alsoserved as a member o the SEBI board. He was Vice Chairman o the

International Network on Financial Education, Organization or

Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) rom 2007 to 2009.

Mr. Cyril Shro is serving as a Managing Partner o Amarchand &

Mangaldas & Suresh A Shro & Co, India’s largest and oremost law

frm. With over 25 years o experience in a range o areas, includingcorporate laws, securities markets, banking, inrastructure and

others, Mr. Shro is regarded and has been consistently rated as

India’s top corporate, banking and project fnance lawyer by several

international surveys including Euromoney, Chambers Global,

IFLR and Asia Legal 500. He has authored several publications on

legal topics besides being a visiting lecturer o securities law at the

Government Law College. He is a member o the advisory board o the

Centre on Lawyers and the Proessional Services Industry, established

by the Harvard Law School, and a member o the advisory board o

the National Institute o Securities Markets (NISM). Mr. Shro was

admitted to the Bar Council in 1982 ater receiving his BA and LLB

degrees rom the Government Law College in Mumbai. He has been asolicitor at the Bombay High Court since 1983.

Mr. Ranjeet S. Mudholkar is serving as the Vice Chairman and CEO o

Financial Planning Standards Board India (FPSB India). In the past ten

years, he has led the transormation o FPSB India till date. In 2009,

he served as Chairman o the Asia-Pacifc Forum, comprising FPSB

Afliates. He also served as a Member o the Nominating Committee

or selecting candidates or the 2013 FPSB Global Board o Directors.

Besides ensuring that the Vision and Goals o successive Boards are

well executed, he has been responsible to ensure the growth o the

organisation while keeping all the stakeholders aligned. He is also the

Editor o the Financial Planning Journal, a leading monthly periodical

or the Financial Planning community in India. Earlier, he has also

served as the Director o Symbiosis Institute o Management Studies

(SIMS), a premier Business Management School in India, between

1997-2001.

Mr. Deepak Chatterjee has experience o over 32 years in State Bank

o India in various areas such as Credit Administration, Investment

Banking, International Banking Operations and Branch Management.

In his previous assignment, Mr. Chatterjee was General Manger

(Financial Institutions Group), International Business Group in SBI

where he was handling und raising or SBI outside India, Country

Risk and Bank exposures. In his previous assignments in the last 10 years, he has held senior positions in SBI and SBI Capital Markets.

Mr. Chatterjee is M.Sc rom IARI and also holds MBA qualifcation

rom FMS, Delhi. He has also completed CAIIB rom the IIBF.

Ms Monika Halan is Editor o Mint Money and part o the leadership

team at Mint, India’s second largest business newspaper that has an

exclusive partnership with the Wall Street Journal. She is a reputed

media personality, known or her expertise in personal fnance. Sheis a Yale World Fellow which is Yale University’s signature global

leadership development initiative. In her previous assignment, she

was the Editor o Outlook Money, India’s largest personal fnance

magazine. She has also worked with the government as Advisor to the

Swarup Committee. An alumnus o Delhi School o Economics, Shri

Ram College o Commerce and Cardi University, she wrote her frst

book, Seven Steps to Financial Freedom, in 2005.

Mr. Milind Barve serves as the Managing Director and CEO at HDFC

Asset Management Company Ltd. He joined the frm in 2002. Mr.Barve was the General Manager o Treasury at HDFC Ltd. and headed

the department or 14 years. He was responsible or the management

o HDFC’s Treasury portolio and or raising unds rom Financial

Institutions and Capital Markets. Mr. Barve was also the Head o

Marketing or retail deposit products and responsible or investment

advisory relationships or Commonwealth Equity Fund Mutual Fund

and Invesco India Growth Fund. He is also a director on the Board o

other companies besides being the Chairman o Association o Mutual

Funds in India (AMFI). Mr. Barve is a Chartered Accountant and an

Mr. N. Sivaraman is the President and Wholetime Director at L&T

Finance Holdings Ltd. He is serving at L&T or the last 28 years. Over

the period, he has been involved in all aspects o fnance and accounts,

mergers and acquisitions and investor relations. He is responsible

or and oversees the ollowing entities – L&T Finance Limited,

L&T Inrastructure Finance Company Limited, L&T Investment

Management Limited and L&T General Insurance Company Limited.

During his career at L&T, Mr. Sivaraman has played a key role in

structuring the demerger o the cement business o L&T and inducting

private equity investors in L&T Inrastructure Development Projects

Limited. He is a Chartered Accountant and is a ellow member o the

Institute o Chartered Accountants o India.

Mr. Rajan Ghotgalkar has been the Country Head - India o Principal

International since late 2007; and is also the Managing Director o

Principal PNB Asset Management Company (P) Ltd. He spearheads

the Principal International’s interests in India and also serves as a

Director on the Boards o Principal Retirement Advisors Company

(P) Ltd. and Principal Global Services (P) Ltd. He has also served as a

Director on the Board o Association o Mutual Funds in India (AMFI).

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce & Economics rom the

University o Bombay and is also a Chartered Accountant rom ICAI.He has a rich International banking experience spanning more than

24 years and he has an excellent grasp on areas pertaining to branch

management, operations, fnance, consumer banking and retail

banking. He brings to the ore deep understanding o fnancial services

Mr. Rakesh Jain is serving as the Executive Director and Chie

Executive Ofcer o Reliance General Insurance Co. Ltd. He has over

18 years o industry experience, his previous assignment being with

ICICI Lombard, where he played leadership roles across Operations,

IT, Claims Management, Reinsurance, Corporate Business and

the Broking channel. Mr. Jain holds Chartered Accountant and

Cost Accountant certifcations. He won several internal & external

accolades including the coveted CFO o the year (2009) in fnancial

Mr. Suresh Mahalingam is the Managing Director o Tata AIA Lie

Insurance Company Ltd. He holds a Bachelor in Commerce rom

Madras University and PGPIM rom International Management

Institute, India. He has earlier served HDFC Standard Lie as General

Manager – Marketing. He has been serving the Lie Insurance industry

Mr. Vivek Kudva is the Managing Director (India) and Central &

Eastern Europe, Middle East & Arica (CEEMA) at Franklin Templeton

Investments (India) Pvt. Ltd. since 2009. In his previous assignment

he served as the General Manager o the National Bank o Oman. Prior

to that, Mr. Kudva served as the Country Head o HSBC’s personal

fnancial services where he developed and executed successully the

bank’s retail growth strategy in India. He is an Engineering graduate

rom IIT-Delhi and an IIM-Ahmadabad alumnus.

Mr. Vivek Law is an Editor with Bloomberg TV India, a leading Business

News Channel. He is responsible or leading the Editorial unction

across verticals. A Business Journalist o par excellence, he has earlier

worked a National Editor (Consumer Aairs) with CNBC TV 18. Mr.
