We are in a modernist’s acid trip. There are elements of Fellini’s stage with grotesque props that do

not match the background - neon signs, art on a wall. Slowly we are realizing that these are all clues

to other narratives. Making detectives of us all, we are invited to construct our own hypothesis,

granting and revoking alibis, we are more than spectators; we are forced to be cinematic citizens.

We are moving through emptiness of European town at dawn, changing vignettes of cultural

landscape from old shanghai to ultra modern. At some point will we stop remembering where we had

started? It’s a sensual mix of a good taste in all ages. We are engaged into narrative while emerged

into phosphorus glow of textures: from rough granite of the old world to a new world lacquer.

Ilya has 15 years global consulting experience within the entertainment

and advertising industries. Since establishing his own business in 2006,

with offices in Beijing and Auckland, New Zealand, Ilya has worked with

an eclectic mix of clients (including Bacardi, Dunhill, Viacom Asia, China

National Film Museum, Haier, MOMA Shanghai and Universal) on various

projects, such as market evaluation, the strategic development of global

entertainment platforms, and consultation on co-production financing

and structuring. Under Ilya’s creative and strategic supervision, ZZILI was

commissioned to execute innovative content platforms such as the MTV

Global Image Campaign, the Chinese Environmental Protection Agency

Global Contest, the OneDreamRush Film Festival referred to earlier,

and the Waiwera Artesian water global roll-out. Prior to founding ZZILI,

Ilya served as New Business Director, and later as Director of Human

Resources, at Modernista! - the US-based agency behind some of the most

talked about branding campaigns in recent years.

Ilya has an honors degree in Linguistics from Brandeis University in

Massachusetts, as well as an honors degree in Mathematics from Moscow

University.

I lya Rozhdestvensky Executuve Producer

Jimmy is a member of the influential Cao family- well known within the

Chinese film industry for holding top producer roles. He brings invaluable

industry knowledge and connections to ZZILI’s business in China. Jimmy

serves as our chief communicator between various government and

commercial parties – a role he thrives in due to his ability to balance and

marry western and Chinese approaches to business. While working on

the development of OneDreamRush in China, Jimmy was responsible

for facilitating important partnerships with the Beijing Film Studio and

the Beijing Film Academy, and directing press relations with media

channels, such as CCTV6 (National Entertainment Channel) and Beijing

TV Channel. Jimmy has worked with various automotive clients in China,

providing PR and content development platform consultation. He has an

extensive knowledge of media economics, and of the wider global economy

and consumer market trends, which he applies expertly within market

research and development projects for various clients.

Jimmy graduated from Auckland University, New Zealand, with a degree in

Economics and Accounting.
