    1. Our income for the year from fundraising is $202,000.2. The auction grossed around $53,000 and netted around $40,000.

    III. Old BusinessA. School Site Council Updates

    1. The welcome packets at the beginning of the new school year will include the brochure that talks about ourCore Beliefs.

    B. Committee Updates1. Library Committee will be led by Michelle Dean and Anne Tierney next year.2. Green Team is writing grants to get the rest of the plants for the Wildlands and is waiting on soil from LAUSD.

    Also, they would eventually like to move the basketball courts and are looking for money to help with this.

    IV. New BusinessA. VOTE: 2013-2014 FOW Officers

    1. The new officers were elected with a vote of 23 yes votes to 0 no votes.B. Thank you to outgoing officers

June 7 (Friday): Last day of the school year and MINIMUM DAY DISMISSAL at 12:35pm.D. July 21 (Sunday): Summer Playdate, 1:00pm-3:00pm, Kinder Yard.E.     VI. Help Wanteds:A. Needed: Heavy Duty Vacuum Cleaner school needs a replacement vacuum cleaner.B. Job Opening: Bilingual (Spanish) Teaching Assistant: 4 hours/day. Must be enrolled in school and provide

    documentation. Contact: [email protected] .C. Job Opening: Bilingual (Spanish) Community Representatitve -- Walgrove is looking for a candidate to serve as a

    Community Representative to increase our Spanish-speaking families access to our school. Total hours: 93 forthe school year, to be scheduled as needed. Will require written and oral translation abilities in Spanish.Contact: [email protected] .

    D. Marquee Volunteer: Help Update the Marquee looking for a few volunteers to update the marquee (the sign onWalgroves front lawn) each week.

    E. Main Office Volunteer -- Looking for a way to help out and not sure where to start? Help out with Tracy in the frontoffice answering phones, making copies, running supplies to classrooms, etc. Please see Joe Falzarano:

    [email protected]. School Tech Support Volunteer Let us know if you can help out with keeping all the computers and Internet

    performing well at school. This is a GREAT way to help out. We have a 5th grade parent who can show you all theropes this year so you can help out next year! Please see Joe Falzarano: [email protected].
