“Rejoice, Jerusalem! Be glad for her, you who love her; rejoice with her you who mourned for her, and you will find contentment at her consoling breasts.” This Sunday is known as Laetare Sunday and is a Sunday of joy. Lent is half over, and Easter is enticingly near.

There will be English pre-baptismal classes on Sunday March 31st at 3:00 PM. We will meet in the Knights of Columbus Room, at the northeast corner of the Pastoral Center. You must stop by the parish office prior to the class and pick up a card to take the class. Please remember you have to be a registered member of our parish who attends Mass or from another parish but baptizing in our parish. If you are coming from another parish we will need a letter letting us know that you are in good standing with the church.

Ladies of Sts. Peter & Paul Church, we are having our spring salad luncheon again on Wednesday, May 1, from 11:30 to 1:30 in our pastoral center. All money goes toward our building debt. All ladies are needed to help by buying tickets to attend, selling tickets, and helping with this project the day of the luncheon. We need LOTS OF SALADS!!! We will be selling the tickets after the 8:30 Sunday masses and you can signup to bring salads. You can also call Sharon Pack at 935-3240 or 930-7656 to bring salads. Please, Ladies & Guys too, we need your help. So plan on preparing your favorite salad or salads for our big day. Lets make lots of money and enjoy all the delicious salads.

Daily Mass readings For all who attend daily Mass, if you want the daily Mass readings and prayers, let us know if you would prefer to purchase a Daily Missal (approximately $40.00-$65.00) or subscribe to Magnificat at the cost of $50.00 per year? The Daily Missal is good until revisions come and the Magnificat is an on going expense. If you purchase a Daily Missal you would have to bring it each time you come to Mass. The Magnificat could be left in the chapel. (Just as a side note, the complete set of the Daily Missal for weekday and Sunday, runs right at $100.00.)

All women of Saints Peter & Paul are encouraged to attend the Altar Society Annual Planning Meeting on April 2nd, Tuesday evening at 6pm at the Pastoral Center. We will be forming our work committees as well as planning and preparing for the liturgical seasons throughout the next year. WORLDWIDE ROSARY AND ADORATION APRIL 4th, 2019 10:00 AM-11:00 AM IN OUR CHAPEL This will be the 100th anniversary of the death of Francisco Marto, one of the children who Mary appeared to at Fatima, Portugal. There will be a rosary recited in Spanish. And we will have Adoration of the Blessed sacrament. Join us if you are able as we pray for world peace and consecrate our lives to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

This Thursday evening April 4th at 6:00 PM, in our Pastoral Center we will be celebrating the Sacrament of Confession. Please take advantage of this opportunity and attend. There will be additional priests here and we will have room to accommodate all who seek this time of reconciliation.

Confirmation Class

Early Registration for Faith Formation will be the first two weeks of April. Late Registration for Faith Formation will be the last week in May If you did not pay the fees for your student for the prior year, that student is not eligible for registration. The forms will be sent with students for parents to return make sure you include the fees and pick up your receipt. All fees should be paid when the registration form is turned in. Fees for early registration: $40.00 regular CCD and $80.00 Sacramental prep. Fees late registration: $50 regular and $100.00 Sacramental preparation.

If your child’s name is in ITALICS, please stop by the parish office and fill out the form for Sacrament Reception, remember to bring your child’s baptismal certificate if they were not baptized here at Saints Peter and Paul.
