Standards-Based Lessons
Reading –We will continue flex groups reading the novel Because of Winn-Dixie and study story elements.Math –We will continue flex groups studying place and place value. We will take our first assessment on Wed.Spelling – We will begin using our spelling workbook. The rule will be “Long a and i.” Spelling pages 5-8 will be due Friday, September 8th.
Writing- We will begin focusing on grammar skill/rules.Social Studies- We will continue our study of the Southeast Region of the United States.
