Director’s Note
Happy New Year! 2013 has already been filled with
new experiences, additions to the Bal Sahyog and
friendly visitors. Some of the wishes have come
true, with fun outings and learning new skills.
These trips welcomed new impressions by going to
Rajghat, sightseeing Delhi. Travelling around Delhi
with new friends from Germany both historical and
spiritual monuments gave the youngest children
additional knowledge of Delhi.
While you enjoy reading our newsletter with stories
about our children with images from our every day,
it is my hope that our children dreams can be
fulfilled throughout the year.

WorkshopWorkshopWorkshopWorkshop
The World Education Forum recommends: “Everyone has right not only to receive
education, but to receive education of a high
quality”. With this motto on 7th December 2012
an innovative and informative workshop was
organized by Sri Ram Education trust: An
initiative to spread quality education in India.
The small kids were shown a documentary video
on “Motivation and Personality Development”
and the older children were shown another
documentary video on “Importance of
Education in our life”.
The “need to do something for recreation” is an essential element of human biology and
psychology. It is more of a fun embodied in the form of activities to refresh one’s body
and mind. Bal Sahyog always gives importance on two facts: quality of life and effective
time utilization. Bal Sahyog ensures every alternate Saturday that children should visit
new places , new avenues so that children can make a joyful group that help each other
to promote themselves. On 2nd October 2012, 50 children of our Bal Sahyog children
home were taken to Swami Narayan Akshardham Temple. Three house parents
accompanied them. They were told the importance of spirituality in life. On the same day
another 50 children were taken to visit India Gate. In the month of November children
were taken to Redfort. In the month of December almost 50children visited Birla
Temple. Children were taken to Birla Temple park too. Through all these activities Bal
Sahyog emphasizes on the foundation of well being including joy and fulfillment, energy
and peace.
