Course structure
In the first year you’ll study:
• Contemporary Publishing• Introduction to Design & Production• Communication and Copywriting• Professional Practice• Text Editing
In the second year you’ll study:
• Working in Publishing: In-house and freelance• Marketing and Publicity • Self-initiated project/ work placement
And either:
• Commissioning & Product Developmentor• Professional Design Practice
This is a practical and varied course - you’ll learn about:
• Time management
• Initiative
• Organisation
• Teamwork
• Decision-making
You can apply to carry on into a third year to do :
BA (Hons) in Creative Writing
or
BA (Hons) in Graphic Communication
