PANEL OF JUDGES
PSA DEFINITIONS1. MONOCHROME: An image is considered to be Monochrome only if it gives the impression of having no color (i.e. contains
only shades of gray which can include pure black or white) OR it gives the impression of being a grayscale image that has been toned in one color across the entire image. (For example by Sepia, red, gold etc.)
A grayscale or multi-colored image modified or giving the impression of having been modified by partial toning, multi toning or by the inclusion of spot coloring does not meet the definition of monochrome and shall be classified as a Color Work.
2. NATURE: Nature Photography is restricted to the use of the photographic process to depict all branches of natural history, except anthropology and archaeology, in such a fashion that a well informed person will be able to identify the subject material and certify its honest presentation. *The story telling value of a photograph must be weighed more than the pictorial quality while maintaining high technical quality. *Human elements shall not be present, except where those human elements are integral parts of the nature story such as nature subjects, like barn owls or storks, adapted to an environment modified by humans, or where those human elements are in situation depicting natural forces, like hurricanes or tidal waves. *Scientific bands, scientific tags, or radio collars on wild animals are permissible. *Photographs of human created hybrid plants, cultivated plants, feral animals, domestic animals, or mounted specimens are ineligible as in any form of manipulation that alters the truth of the photographic statement.*No techniques that add, relocate, replace, or remove pictorial elements except by cropping are permitted.*Techniques that enhance the presentation of photograph without changing the nature story or the pictorial content, or without altering, the content of the original scene, are permitted including HDR, focus staking and dodging/burning. Technique that remove elements added by the camera, such as dust spots, digital noise and film scratches, are allowed. *Stitched images are not allowed.*All allowed adjustments must appear natural.*Color images can be converted to grayscale monochrome. *Infrared images, either direct-captures or derivations, are not allowed.* Images entered in Nature sections meeting the Nature Photography Definitions above can have landscapes, geological formations, weather phenomena, and extant organisms as the primary subject matter. This includes images taken with subjects in controlled conditions, such as zoos, game farms, botanical gardens, aquariums and any enclosure where the subjects are totally dependant on man for food.
3. WILDLIFE: Images entered in Wildlife section meeting the Nature Photography Definition above are further defined as one or more extant zoological or botanical organisms free and unrestrained in a natural or adopted habitat. *Landscape, geological formations, photographs of zoo or game farm animals or of any extant zoological or botanical species taken under controlled conditions are not eligible in Wildlife sections. *Wildlife is not limited to animals, birds and insects. Marine subjects and botanical subjects (including fungi and algae) taken in a wild are the suitable wildlife subjects, as are carcasses of extant species, Images meeting the Wildlife Definition may be entered in Nature sections as well as Wildlife sections.
4. PHOTOJOURNALISM: Photojournalism entries shall consists of images or sequences of images with informative content and emotional impact, including human interest, documentary and spot news. The journalistic (story telling) value of the Digital Images shall receive priority over pictorial quality. In the interest of credibility, images that misrepresent the truth, such as those from events or activities specifically arranged for photographic or of subjects directed or hired for photography are not eligible. Techniques that add to, relocate, replace or remove any elements of the original image, except by cropping, are not permitted. The only allowable modifications are removal of dust, scratches or digital noise, restoration of the existing appearance of the original scene, sharpening that is not obvious and conversion to grayscale monochrome. Derivations, including infrared, are not eligible.
5. PHOTO TRAVEL: A Photo Travel image must expresses the characteristics features or a culture of a land as they are found
naturally. There are no geographical limitations. Images from events or activities arranged specifically for photography, or of subjects directed or hired for photography are not appropriate. Closeup pictures of people or objects must include features that provide information about the environment.
The only allowable adjustments are removal of dust, scratches and digital noise, restoration of the appearance of the original scene, and complete conversion to grayscale monochrome. Other derivations including infrared are nor permitted. All images must appear natural.
Entries must originates as Photographs (image-captures of object via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on
photographic emulsion or acquired digitally. By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his own (aliases are not permitted). The entrant permits the sponsors to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to the exhibition. This may include low resolution posting on a website.
Techniques that add to, relocate, replace or remove any element of the original image, except by cropping are not permitted
“Images may be altered, either digitally or otherwise, by the maker and artwork or computer graphics created by the entrant may be incorporated if the photographic content predominates.”

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
13. If Entry fee is not received, the entry will be not be judged and cancel their entries.
15. Each image must have unique �tle. Once an image has been accepted in a PSA Recognized exhibi�on, that same image, or like “in camera” or a “reproduc�on” duplicate of that image:
(ii) May not be re-�tled for entry in any other PSA Recognized Exhibi�on. Words such as “Un�tled” or “No Title” are not acceptable as part or all of an image’s �tle, nor are camera capture file names or �tles consis�ng of only numbers. (iii) Images mee�ng the Monochrome Defini�on and non-manipulated color images from the same capture shall be considered the same image and must be given the same �tle. (iv) PSA members working on Galaxy and Diamond Star Ra�ngs shall be allowed to con�nue using different �tles of monochrome versions and color versions of the same capture that have already been accepted un�l the required number of acceptances for those �tles have been completed.

(b) Acceptances in PID recognized Monochrome sec�ons shall be credited towards PID Monochrome Star Ra�ngs and Who’s Who Monochrome lis�ngs.
19. If at any �me , it is determined in the reasonable discre�on of the exhibi�on organizer or the judges before, during, or a�er the judging that an entrant has submi�ed entries where one or more images fail to comply with these Condi�ons of Entry, including the stated defini�ons, the exhibi�on organizers reserves the right to delete the entry from the exhibi�on and void any or all acceptances or awards. Fees may be forfeited or refunded in these circumstances. The entrant acknowleges that the decision of exhibi�on organizers or the judges is final.
11. Accepted and awarded images obtained in this exhibi�on will count towards PSA “Star Ra�ngs” and Who’s Who.
(a) Acceptances in PID recognized Color sec�ons shall be credited towards PID Color Star Ra�ngs and Who’s Who Color lis�ngs. Monochrome images accepted in PID recognized Color sec�ons shall only be credited towards PID Color Star Ra�ngs.
8. All acceptances eligibility shall be in accordance with PID Star Ra�ngs or the Galaxy / Diamond requirements as appropriate.
21. By entering this exhibi�on, an entrant is explicitly consen�ng to the personal details supplied, including email addresses, being held, processed and used by the exhibi�on organizers for purposes associated with this exhibi�on.
5. Digital image must bear the �tle and sec�on of the entrant and must be numbered to correspond with the entry form. The digital image files must be in JPEG format and file size maximum 1 MB. Please submit the images with maximum 300dpi resolu�on and a maximum of 1024 X 768. If the image is horizontal i.e. in landscape format, the width would be 1024 pixels and the height would be less than this as per composi�on. Similarly, if the image is ver�cal or in portrait format, the height would be 768 pixels and the width would be less this as per composi�on.

3. Entries are limited to not more than 4 Digital images per sec�on, category or class- PID Monochrome, PID Color, Nature, Wildlife, Photojournalism and Photo Travel. Digital should not be mixed to make one entry.
4. An image may be entered in only one sec�on where acceptances of that image in mul�ple sec�ons would be eligible for the same star path. “ An image that was accepted in prior CPID recognized sec�on of this exhibi�on may not be entered in a PID recognized color sec�on of this exhibi�on.”
7. All entrants in must provide name and country data exactly the same in each exhibi�on entered to receive proper credit.
9. An Entrant’s four images will be distributed throughout four rounds of judging in that sec�on. Distribu�on of images shall be in the same round order as submi�ed by the entrant.
10. The exhibi�on assumes no liability of any misuse of copyright. Images may be altered, either electronically or otherwise, by the maker. ‘Artwork or computer graphics created by the entrant may be incorporated provided the photographic content predominates, subject to Nature, Photo Travel and Photojournalism divisional restric�ons’. All final work must be on photographic film, or on electronic file, or on photographic or electronic print material, moun�ng excepted.
12. No s�ckers will be issued for accepted Digital Entry.

The circuit will consists of Eight sec�ons : (a) PID Monochrome (b) PID Mono (Theme - City Life) (c)PID Color (d) PID Color (Theme- City of Life) (e) Nature: Monochrome and Color (Combined) (f) Wildlife: Monochrome and Color (Combined) (g) Photojournalism: Monochrome and Color (Combined) (h) Photo Travel: Monochrome and Color (Combined).
14. Title of Entry / Image should not exceed 25 le�ers to facilitate computer lis�ng for catalogue. Use only (A-Z or 0-9) in �tles. Each photo can be presented in only one sec�on.
(i) May not be re-entered in any sec�on of the same Division Star Ra�ngs class in that exhibi�on regardless of media, format, or �tle.
16. The entrant permits the sponsors to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publica�on and / or display in media related to the exhibi�on. This may include low resolu�on pos�ng on a website.
17. No�fica�on will be online for each separate judging. Entries will be judged by YES/NO System. 18. Images to be judge through Epson EB-S0 2 Projector(LED). Pixel Resolu�on of the Projector: (1024 X 768). The decision of the panel of
judges will be final and binding with no appeal.
20. In order to ensure that images comply with the Condi�ons of Entry and defini�ons, the exhibi�on may carry out checks on the images to make sure that: (a) the images are the original work of the entrant and (b) the images comply with the rules and defini�ons as set out in these Condi�ons of Entry.
24. All Acceptances of entrants will be shown in website gallery and one can visit on website: h�ps://www.jcmcircuits.com/
This may involve asking the entrant to provide originally captured image(s), with EXIF data intact, by a set deadline. The ques�oned image(s) of any entrant failing to comply with such a request for the original image(s) may be considered in breach of these Condi�ons of Entry, and declined. Such entries may be referred to PSA for further inves�ga�on of possible ethics viola�ons. PSA retains the right to inves�gate in any way all complaints/suspicions of breaches of entry condi�ons, impose sanc�ons if deemed necessary, void the acceptances of any image found to violate the PSA rules, include the entrant’s name on the list of sanc�ons provided to Exhibi�ons, and share such inves�ga�ons with FIAP. Entrants automa�cally agree to these terms by the act of entering the Exhibi�on.
22. By entering this exhibi�on, an entrant is no�fied that the Acceptance Rate may not be exceed 35% in any sec�on with excep�on of 3D.23. The submission of entries signifies the acceptance of the above condi�ons by the Entrant.
25. Accepted and Awarded images obtaining in WPAI Patronage Circuit/Salon will count towards WPAI Dis�nc�on and Honors.
