Golden Dragon Attends 2014 Cairo International Motor Show

On Mar. 13, Cairo International Motor Show

kicked off in Cairo International Exhibition Center.

Golden Dragon Bus, together with its Egyptian

distributor EL KASRAWY attended the show. At

the press conference held on the first day, the

bus manufacturer highlighted the company’s

achievements in Egypt and its future development

plans in the country.

Since 2011, Golden Dragon light buses have been

taking the lead in Egypt’s market. As of 2014, the

total number of the brand had reached over 10,000

units. Such an impressive achievement is made

thanks to the company’s continuous hard work

and sincere attitudes towards its local customers. In

response to the changing demands of the market,

the company has been committed to providing its

customers with unparalleled services, which have

significantly helped strengthen its market presence.

First Entry to Madagascar

On Apr. 2014, Golden Dragon exported 10 minibuses

to Madagascar , marking the company's first entry into

the African country. Currently, the bus manufacturer

is making every effort to further expand its market in

Africa.

Statistics show Xiamen Golden Dragon exported

5,883 units of buses & coaches with a total value of 103

million USD to a number of countries in 2013, including

Egypt, Philipines, Peru, Nigeria, Russia, Kazakhstan, etc.

From Jan. 1 to Apr. 10 in 2014, the company's export

volume reached 1,296 units, which are valued at 18.158

On recent 2014 China Beijing International Exhibition on Buses, Trucks &

Components,Golden Dragon brought its 12-meter Kaige XML6122J18 and 10-meter

Kaige XML6102 high-end travel coach and 9-meter Jincheng mid-sized bus on display,

further promoting its core commitment to creating value for customers.

12-meter Kaige XML6122J18 inherits all classic elements of XML6127 bus model.

Jincheng medium bus was newly introduced by Golden Dragon in 2014. Born out

of its well-received predecessors, the 9-meter bus boasts even higher safety standards,

Golden Dragon Attends 2014 Haixi New Energy Industry Expo

On 15th March, the third Haixi (Xiamen) International New Energy Industry

Expo had its grand opening in Xiamen International Conference and

Exhibition Center. Golden Dragon brought three of its new energy buses:

the large pure electric bus XML6125JEV20C, plug-in gas-electric hybrid bus

XML6105JHEV88CN, and solar bloodmobile XML5153XCX18, to the exhibition.

Known as "China's top new energy exhibition", is has attracted well-known

brands of new energy vehicles, as well as the latest products and technologies

such as photovoltaic applications, LED lights, PM2.5 killers and others.

On the New Energy Forum held at the same time, Golden Dragon, together

with scholars in the automobile industry, explored the development direction

and promotion of China's new energy vehicles. @goldendragonbus

GD Buses Help Pioneering Reform of Public Transportation

110 BUSES IN CIXI

Recently 110 Golden Dragon (GD) buses purchased

by Cixi Public Transportation Company were

officially into operation. And all buses running in the

city and rural areas would be all operated by Cixi

Public Transportation, which was a huge progress in

promoting integration reform of public transport and

acted as a reform sample for urban-rural transportation

integration in country-level cities of China.

In accordance with Gong Jianbo, 110 Golden

Dragon buses into the operation of different 9 routes

aroused approval of citizens, especially for the larger

internal space of larger and longer buses on Route 2

and 16. 12m and 7m buses replace the original 10m

and 6m buses allowing much more space compared

with crowded carriage in the past. Speaking of other

advantages of Golden Dragon buses, Gong Jianbo,

a former maintenance staff, praised a lot about

cathode electrophoresis technology. “Due to coastal

geography of Cixi city, vehicles suffer severe corrosion,

by which bus body begins to rust after three years of

using. However, cathode electrophoresis technology

of Golden Dragon Bus would be free of corrosion

for ten years, which is definitely fortune for us. Apart

from the labor and time put into body maintenance

every several years, regular operation would also be

influenced.”

Praise about Golden Dragon Bus is beyond

all mentioned above. Cixi Public Transportation

appreciates pragmatic attitude and sincere professional

ethic of Golden Dragon. Taking service as an example,

Golden Dragon treats all customers right through the

whole process and does better and more than what it

promises. Gong Jianbo told our reporter, “In the past

few years, we purchased only 13 buses for travel business.

However, service staff of Golden Dragon almost provides

service every month and even helps with buses of other

brands.”

For now, reform and recombination of Cixi Public

Transportation has already come to an end. But benefit

optimization of passenger transportation resource and

new urban-rural integration sharing resources are still in

the process which leaves space for pioneering Golden

Dragon.

GD Held Final Contest of Victory Cup After-sales Service Competition

Golden Dragon "Victory Cup" after-sales service

skills final contest was held in the company from

28th February to 1st March 2014.

This is a special contest. Its biggest difference between

the previous ones is that the content of the training

and competition is mainly about electric appliances

and circuit system. In the era of electrification, the

significance of "Victory Cup" goes without saying.

"Victory Cup" after-sales service skills contest

undoubtedly provided a very good idea and possibility

- the contest is the best training ground.According to

reports, the contest includes theoretical and practical

parts with a total score of 100, 50 points for each

part. The theoretical part tests basic knowledge of

circuit maintenance, technical state parameters of the

related electrical components, circuit analysis and fault

diagnosis, etc.; the practical part tests the circuit fault

diagnosis for Coater and other main buses.

In fact, the contest has become a routine project

of Xiamen Golden Dragon after-sales system. Earlier

in 2012, they already held small scale contests

covering services consultant skills and paint and repair

skills. Moreover, with the launch of new products,

configurations and technologies, Xiamen Golden

Dragon keeps training its maintenance personnel every

year to improve their skills.

As deputy general manager of Xiamen Golden

Dragon, Peng Dongqing, who is in charge of

sales, purchasing and after-sales, has quite a deep

understanding of after-sales service. "In the past, the

domestic purchaser only focused on the price but now

they are more concerned about the standards of the

after-sales service. It can be said that the role of after-

sales in marketing is constantly growing. "

As the main force of China's bus industry, Xiamen

Golden Dragon has established effective service

strategies and sound sales and after-sales service

system. At present, Xiamen Golden Dragon has 31

provincial-level marketing departments, 12 Parts

Centrals all over China, with 86 large/medium

franchisees, 65 light vehicles franchisees, 576 service

stations, forming a sales and service network covering

vehicle sales, parts supply, after-sales service and

information feedback. The after-sales service overseas

is also becoming increasingly mature and perfect.

It is particularly worth mentioning that three years

ago, Xiamen Golden Dragon founded the online

university for after-sales service training. Staff from

local service stations, repairing stations can gain the

access via their exclusive accounts. When encountering

difficult problems in their daily work, staff can also seek

help from after-sales engineers of the head quarter and

colleagues from everywhere through the web.

In addition, Xiamen Golden Dragon also attaches

great importance to the quality of bus parts and has

established a quality assurance system to achieve

standardization and professionalization in bus parts

management. At the same time, the company also

established a sound service network, with 24-hour

service hotline for quick response to customers'

problems, to ensure the timeliness of services. Through

these efforts, Xiamen Golden Dragon gained the trust

of its costumers and became a model company for

"sincere service".

In May 2014, Xiamen Golden Dragon will hold

contests for other skills in its production bases to

improve the staff and promote the upgrading and

evolution of vehicle manufacturing technology and

production processes.

performance of different the vehicle,

while this time it is more like a passenger or

a purchaser focusing on the drive experience

and cost benefit. And these aspects are the

10m double floor bus's main starting points

for its model development.

Although there is currently no exact

definition for double floor buses, but it has

two distinctive features: the body height is

between single and double-decker bus for

a bigger luggage compartment volume; six

more seats are added due to the lower design

of its drive zone.

Do not underestimate these six seats, they

improved 13% capacity for buses of the

same body length. For example, a 10m one

and a half bus can reach a 12m normal bus's

capacity .

matching of XML6012J58Y was impressive.

The acceleration in high and medium speed

is quite amazing, with II block speed limit at

40 km/h, and 60km/h speed by III block. Its

acceleration time from 0 to 60 km/h is only

about 16s.

This tested bus is equipped with 8.424L

Yuchai YC6L310-42 engine, with the output

power 218 kW, more than enough to drive this

10m 12,000 kg model. Its low speed and high

torque contribute to the excellent acceleration

performance.

bus can cut oil consumption by 50%.

In early 2013, Fuzhou Bus Group bought 153 hybrid buses from

Golden Dragon. Since then, the energy efficient and green bus fleet have

been working smoothly and delivering impressive oil economy. Zhang

Xiaozhuan, deputy managing director of Fuzhou Bus Group said regretfully
