• David Graham Shillington served as a Major in the Royal Irish Fusiliers during WW1

• 2 members of the Shillington family, Tom Shillington and Geoffrey (St George Shillington) Cather VC, were members of the 36th Ulster Division and killed in action at the Somme and on the Western Front (1916)

Voting for House Reps in September 2011

Each House will have 2 Male Reps and 2 Female Reps per Year Group in Year’s 11 and 12

House Reps will be elected by their Peers, this will be done in PD

House Reps will wear a House Badge so that they may be easily identifiable

This will be located at junction of the language corridor and current Year 12 locker area

Common information will include: Time table of House Competitions, Running totals, photographs

Each House will have their own area on the House Notice Board to display team sheets information etc

Information displayed on the House Notice Board will be duplicated on the school website www.portadowncollege.com
