COMPANY STRUCTURE AND GOALS

When I had divided the concrete word down to cycles I had to calculate the time of each

cycle, both for formwork and the pouring time.

First I calculated if this project was big enough to use a crane and big forms. As the

calculation shows it will not pay up to use a crane. We will there for use DOKA aluframax

in the sizes that can be handled with out a crane.

Following calculations show the time used for erection of formwork, time of each pour of

concrete, time of vibration and time of pump for each cycle.

When calculating the time for erection of the formwork I compared many different

numbers. I got numbers form the V&S price book, Rawlins price book, Opmålerforeningen

and from the Agent for DOKA forms in Iceland. When compairing those figurs I had they

where all very different. I decided to go with the figures I got from the DOKA dealer in

Iceland at Formaco where he said that a group of 3 men could erect upto 800 m2 a week

with a crane and in big shutters 2.400*2.700 mm and upto 500 m2 a week without a crane

and in smaller shutters.
