In neonatal intensive care units, the impact ofnutrition on fragile neonates is even more dramatic.Formula and human milk preparation that is asepticand nutritionally precise is critical. And, as NICUsincrease their capacity, the rise in demand on exist-ing formula/human milk technicians and facilitiescan cause a corresponding increase in errors.
