I cry unto Nergal and Ishum!

I cry unto Pazuzu and Humwawa!

I cry unto Ninghizhidda and Bidu!

Hurry, O mighty Spirits and Gods of the Underworld!

Turn round the Evil Spirit! Protect thy servant! Kill the Enemy!

Let me be clear of sorcery through your names!

Whatever evil that is in my body, my flesh, and my sinews,

Seize it, and take it down to the Land of No Return!

Tear away whatever evil may come to cut off my life!Rise, O Evil Spirit, and go forth unto Ganzir!

The Galla, may they devour thee wholly!

In the name of the great gods of the Underworld I exorcise thee!

That thou mayest depart!
