What is a force?

• A push or a pull on an object is called force

• No one has tasted or felt a force .But we always see or feel the effect of the force

• Force are used in actions like stretching, pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting and pressing.

• To move a stationary object , we have to push it with a force greater than the opposite force of friction

• When an unbalanced force acts on a body it produces motion in the body.

• If there was no unbalanced force of friction & no air resistance, a moving object would go on moving for ever .
