For Your Prayers Please hold the following people, places, and petitions in your prayers this week. Pray for the World • Pray for an end to all violence and unrest; for countries in conflict and for the people who live in them--that the whole world would know the peace, justice, and freedom of God. • Pray for the vulnerable: for women, children, those in slavery, refugees, prisoners, and captives. • Pray for the leaders of the world that they would respond to this current crisis with wisdom and good judgement. • Pray for the world's economy and all those effected financially by the pandemic--for those who are out of work and struggling to make ends meet. Pray for the Church • Pray for Christians throughout the world--regardless of denomination, community, or fellowship--as they seek to proclaim the Gospel to a world that so desperately needs to hear it. • Pray for the persecuted church--for Christians in Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Pakistan, China, and parts of Africa; and for all those whose faith is known to God alone. • Pray for the GAFCON Movement and our Province (ACNA); for our Primate, Archbishop Foley Beach (& Allison). • Pray for our Diocese (ANiC):for our Diocesan Bishop, Charlie Masters (& Judy); for our Suffragan Bishops: Trevor Walters (& Dede), and Stephen Leung (& Nona); for Missionary Bishop, Andy Lines (& Mandy); and retired Bishops: Don Harvey, Malcolm Harding, & Ron Ferris. • Pray for ANiC congregations in Ontario: for St. Aiden’s at River’s Bend, Belle River; for the Rev. Philip Rutledge; and for all who work and worship in that parish. • Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ ministering with us in Kingston--for Cookes-Portsmouth & Crossroads United Churches. Pray for our Parish • Pray for the families of Roy & Ferne Vopni, Carl & Jennifer Walcott, Grant & Doris Weller, Ben Wheaton, Warren & Holly WhiteKnight. • Pray for our Country, Province, & City • Pray for all those in authority over us--that they would lead with righteousness, wisdom, and truth. Pray for Queen Elizabeth, Prime Minster Justin Trudeau, Premier Doug Ford, and Mayor Bryan Paterson in this state of emergency. Pray for the Sick and Suffering • Pray for all those who cry out for healing in body, mind, or spirit. • Pray for those in our parish: Rick, Annie, Carolyn, Murray, Roy+, and Wayne. • Pray for our family & friends: Harry, Carol, Diane, Bev, Philip, Mike, Audra, Peter, Brenda, Krystyna. • Pray for the home bound: Shirley Murray, Harry MacDonald, Marion Sullivan, Barbara Lemmon, and Murray Moore. • Pray for all those infected with the coronavirus and COVID-19. Give Thanks and pray for mothers and all those women in our lives who have shown us the love and care of a mother. Pray for those on Mission • Pray for all missionaries at home and abroad--for their safety and protection, as they spread the good news of Jesus. Pray for All Saints Church (ANiC), Bonavista, NL. Living Waters is privileged to share in this new thing that God is doing in the eastern part of Canada and to partner with the clergy and people of All Saints. Pray for spiritual and numeric growth for this congregation; and that other orthodox Anglicans in the area would have the courage to step out and join them.
