The outside area where the decking isto be installed does not have to be aneven surface as the InstaCradlesystem is adjustable in height and canbe levelled on site. Combinations of2mm and 5mm cradle packers, with10mm and 30mm interlocking basepackers for more difficult areas, areused to alter the cradle height andensure that the decking surface iscompletely level.

A suitable support batten is simply inserted loose into thecradles and the chosen decking material is then fixeddirectly to each batten with the traditional clips and fixingbrackets common in the industry.

InstaCradles are made from environmentally friendlyrecycled rubber crumb and provide excellent acousticinsulation that isolates the impact sound, which can bereally important on outside balconies or flat roofs wheresound transmission can be an issue.

The rubber cradles cause no damage to the sub-surface,such as flat roofs, and eliminate the creaking created bymany types of plastic cradles that are used for outsidedecking. The cradles are also very hard wearing, waterresistant and do not become brittle in cold weatherconditions.
