The sale of all property is subject to the Property By-law 18.5 and the Property Sales Proceeds Policy.The role of the FMC can be found in the Property By-law, section C and in ‘5.1 Selling Property –Guidelines re property sale process (for sale of church property, vacant land or manses not replaced).’

The FMC reviews the current Mission Plan, recommends the ‘Category of Sale’, and if applicable,resolves in broad terms how the funds available (according to the Policy) to a Congregation may beused and the Approved Projects that Congregations can direct sale proceeds to under New Church &Ministry Developments.
