A 12 day journey into Madhya Pradesh
Delhi
Day 1
Arrive into Delhi; a city of architectural
beauties and dazzling contrasts.
When you disembark from a long flight, a warm
welcome, friendly face and a restful space seem
heaven-sent. Make your way to your hotel; if you
arrive during the day, take a chance to rejuvenate
your tired muscles with a spa; or cool off by
jumping into the pool to beat the jet lag.
Alternatively , if you’re feeling a tad more active;
while away the remaining day browsing the
streets- posh, punky, and preppy – and strolling
along the city’s beloved downtown area.
A varied menu of experiences including spinning
in the atmospheric lanes of Lutyens Delhi,
treading past havelis that tell fantastic stories of
years past, wandering leisurely around the colorful
frenzied backstreets, climbing ancient ruins, visits
to historic sights, museums with charming work
of art and displays; is sure to take you by surprise
and stir your senses!

heart with its art, history and Culture. As you
visit the different parts of the city, thanks to the
diversity of each area, you will notice the Delhi
“buzz” is continually on the move and her
moods survive with certain grace and civility,
hospitality and community spirit. ; is sure to take
you by surprise and stir your
Delight in the sights and sounds of New
Delhi on a cycle tour. A perfect way to
explore the city and to take in the
magnificent sightseeing views of early
morning. With its lush greenery, beautiful
roads, breathtaking monuments and a
taste of the true urban spirit of Delhi along
with its political prowess, a morning tour
would be both picturesque and memorable
for you.
Day 3/4
Panna National Park, first wildlife highlight
of your journey
Leave the hustle bustle of Delhi, fly into
Khajuraho and whisk away towards the wilds of
Panna and settle for next 2 days amidst
unspoiled countryside, on the banks of Ken
River.
Fall for Jungle charm with the game drives to
witness the abundance of incredible wildlife. The
Park's rock ridges and uninterrupted valleys are
the favored home of the sloth bear, while the
wooded areas are dotted with sambar, the largest
of the Indian deer, chital and chowsingha.
Additionally, we recommend a visit to the World
Heritage site of the temples of Khajuraho.
Besides jungle drives; taking river safaris to
watch the birds roosting and taking flight at
the deep gorge, fishing on the pristine Ken
River, walking leisurely through the crop
fields to the surrounding countryside and
catching the luminosity of sunset with a
refreshing sundowner are some of the
interesting things to do in here.
Day 5/6
Drive 150 miles to India’s top tiger
playgrounds; Bandhavgarh National Park
There’s one main reason to beat around the bush
in Bandhavgarh: Tigers. The densities of the big
cat are among the highest on the subcontinent,
early morning and evening trips claim healthy
successful rates.
The park’s wild rocky hills, rich deciduous
woodlands, wetlands and meadows where cats
mingle freely pose a perfect scope for bagging a
delightful wildlife experience.
For those craving for further adventure,
consider experiencing the night life of the
jungle. From listening carefully to the growls
and shouts of the jungle natives, and the
twinkling of their eyes, to the sounds of their
movements; all of this under a starry sky with
moon glowing overhead is sure to give you
goose bumps for a lifetime.
If you’re a passionate bird viewer, then this park
won’t disappoint your passion and rather leave
you lost in thousands of their chirps.
Day 7/8
Culture, wilderness and lots of adventure
into the jungles of Kanha.
It’s time to head to India’s largest national park,
Kanha for an epic jungle experience.
Wind your way on the forest grounds along the
sounds of crackling dry leaves, with cameras
ready and hearts pounding, watch out for the
animals as they might quite suddenly appear
from behind the bush like a jack-in-the-box,
panting in the morning sun. Track the pug and
paw marks, look out for birds flashing around,
learn about the trees of the forests or simply
enjoy the surrounds of the jungles with the
naturalist who promises to infuse a sense of
hooo
connection and excitement in every fauna and flora
that you see during the drive. In addition to game
drives into the park, you can bird watch, take a nature
walk, or photograph the wildlife coming to drink at
the waterhole. A simple joy lies in exploring the local
villages and their traditional architecture and
colourful markets.
A highly recommended activity is walking with
Tara, the much loved elephant, through the
forest to the nearby stream. This is a truly
beautiful interaction with this magnificent, an
animal. Here, along with Tara’s mahout one can
participate in scrubbing her down while she lies
in the water. Be prepared to get wet as she likes
to include all in fun and frolic in the water.
Day 9
Onward to Pench National Park.
Morning is free for your own exploration.
Midday, set forth on a journey into the untamed
wilderness of Pench; an experience where the
hosts, the staff, the naturalists, the friendly
villagers and even nature come together in a
prefect commune to give you an offering that is
nothing but a joyous solace.
This dry deciduous forest is one of the most
visually fascinating and calming forest in Central
India; perfect campgrounds for your campfire
camaraderie, storytelling and sleeping under the
stars. If you’re hankering to jungle walk, bird
watch or bike around to explore the wilderness,
ask the naturalist who followed by your interest
and inclinations can plan the next safari routes,
jungle or nature walk and other equally
interesting activities.
In addition to the park safaris which are a
staple of most of the wildlife lodges, the star
bed is a special experience here, it stands
isolated from the rest of the camp; above the
ground, and ringed by wild scenery, a
complete sensory immersion on your safari
adventure.
Day 10/11
Known for being India’s only park for
walking safaris, Satpura National Park is
next up on your road trip.
If you think seeing the big 5 meant you’d done it
all, you’re wrong. There’s a host of other
fascinating wildlife experiences awaiting in this
park of Satpura.
The sheer diversity of mammals, the presence of
myriad bird species, many species of butterflies
and the absolute luxury to explore this 1,500
square km expanse of wildlife habitat in so many
ways including jeep safaris, jungle walk, elephant
safaris and boat safaris.
A nature walk within the Satpura Tiger
Reserve is an experience unique to this park.
The feeling of being in the jungle with no
separation between wildlife and you is truly
exciting. Equally interesting and fulfilling
are the walks for birders and butterfly
enthusiasts who can go off path and halt
anytime for viewing the bird and butterfly life
in the reserve. But if you prefer exploring
with your eyes than your feet, canoeing is an
absolute favorite to take it all in as well.
