Snap ties with the Zionist State Demands Popular Front

Popular Front of India h a s l a u n c h e d a nationwide campaign demanding the UPA government to snap all ties with the Zionist state of Israel. The increasing influence of Israel on the foreign and internal policy of our country is a very serious threat to the sovere ignty o f our country. It has also dented our international prestige and turned us in to a client state of the U. S. in South East Asia.

Due to the growing Israeli influence on India, t h e s u p p o r t e r s o f Palestinian rights and critics of Zionism are now labeled terrorists by some sections of media quoting as usual the unidentified intelligence and police sources. To secure defense deals with Israel the historic,

cultural, social and economic ties with Arab countries are given the go by. More recently after the Israel Embassy car blast case we could see how Israel was dictating terms to the w o r l d ' s l a r g e s t democracy. The recent arrest on a sen ior j o u r n a l i s t o f t h e instructions of Israeli agencies has created a sense of insecurity among the anti-Zionist voices in India.

Popular Front of India has always been in t h e f o r e f r o n t o f democratic struggles against the imperialist and Zionist aggressions.

T o f u r t h e r o u r commitment to fight the menace of imperialism and Zionism a nation-wide campaign against the growing threat of

Defamatory News against Popular FrontLegal Notice issued to Newspapers and Channels

As the essential first s t e p o f t h e l e g a l proceedings, Mr. K.M. The legal notices were sent by Mr. Bahar U Barqi and Maroof A h m a d , A d v o c a t e s , Supreme Court of India. The hypocrisy of these news papers was proved as most of them never published the rejoinders sent by the Popular Front. We had q u e s t i o n e d t h e authenticity of these reports and till date we have never received any convincing reply from any of these news-papers. While such derogatory reports

were published by the media, it was more disappointing that none of these newspapers ever tried to contact Popular Front leaders to know its point of view on the issues. It is a well established fact that Popular Front of India has always been in the forefront in condemning all forms of terrorism a n d a n t i - n a t i o n a l activities. Still charges of terrorism and anti-n a t i o n a l w o r k a re leveled against the organization without any evidence.

To call Popular Front of India which is one of the biggest neo-social movements in India a banned organization is not just a mistake or error but a planned conspiracy to defame the organization and an attempt to impede its influence and growth. It needs to be noted that Popular Front of India has a larger presence in south India but since last few years it is making huge leaps in many states of north India. There reasons to believe that the great success of “ S o c i a l J u s t i c e Conference” held in last November, with masses that over flowed New Delhi's Ramlila Ground, has further annoyed the vested interest groups and their agents in the media. As Popular front of India is pretty new to the masses of northern states such reports are intentionally published

by the 'Media - Sangh Parivar - Intelligence nexus' to curb the growth of Popular Front and create suspicion among the masses towards the organization.

It is in this context that Popular Front of India has decided to initiate legal proceedings against the above news papers and channels as r e s p o n s e t o t h e i r irresponsible violation of media ethics. We will proceed further with filing cases in court and taking the matter to Press Council of India in the light of the response of the above channels and news papers to our legal notice.

CNN - IBN withdraws Allegation:

After receiving the legal notice, CNN-IBN news channel has w i t h d r a w n i t s al legation against Popular Front by r e m o v i n g t h e defamatory article from i t s w e b s i t e . Simultaneously, the channel sent a reply in response with our legal notice stating that the n e w s i t e m w a s removed from the website.
