MIDLAND SUBLEASE PROGRAM

• Leasing is a quick and easy transaction to complete• There’s no down payment or credit check required • Zero start-up costs for your trucking lease • No long-term commitment • No loss due to normal depreciation • Many tax advantages

Midland Transport offers a Full-Service Sublease program to Owner Operators. This program offers late model Freightliner Tractors.

BENEFITS OF LEASING

Provided the Owner Operator operates the unit in a careful, non-abrasive manner and not beyond its capacity, Midland will maintain and repair the leased vehicle. Midland will provide oil, lubricants, tires, tubes, and other operating supplies necessary for the proper operation of the vehicle.

The leased vehicle can be returned and the agreement terminated with just 30 days notice. There is no long term lease to sign.

The vehicle lease payment will be deducted from the biweekly Owner Operator Settlement.

There will be a mileage charge associated with the lease of the vehicle that will be deducted from the biweekly Owner Operator Settlement.

MIDLAND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE

RATES

There is a fixed monthly payment plus HST that will be deducted at 26 bi-weekly payments.

FIXED MONTHLY PAYMENT

Lease includes a full-service maintenance arrangement. This is charged on a per mile basis plus HST, which will also be deducted for each bi-weekly settlement.

Contact Driver Services Department to obtain the most current rates.

MILEAGE CHARGE

All pro-rated licensing costs for Canada are the responsibility of the Operator. The annual cost of this Canadian Licensing will be deducted from the Operator over a 12 month period from the bi-weekly settlement.

LICENSING

Operator will pay a premium for insurance of $0.055/mile, which will be deducted from bi-weekly settlement on the paid miles.
