As we come to the end of 2015, we are thankful for the financial health of our membersand being able to help them achieve this goal. The Great Recession left many memberswith poor credit scores, unmanageable debt and some without jobs. Working with thesemembers we have been able to adjust their loan payments and help them get counselingwith GreenPath® Debt Solutions, our credit counseling partner. In the first year of thispartnership, GreenPath® worked with 53 members, 289 calls and over $142,000 ofconsumer debt is being managed through member debt management plans. JohnSchaefer, our Director of Marketing and Business Development continues to reach peoplefrom all walks of life with his financial literacy programs and we have introduced newproducts and services to help our members improve their credit scores and receive a loanwhen they have been turned down in the past. GreenPath is a free service and is there tohelp our members manage their finances. Another free service is our TruStage™ HealthInsurance Program designed to help you navigate the new Health Care law andrequirements. This service helps our members make an informed decision on their healthcare needs. Counselors are available to discuss what options are best for you.

At PFCU, we continually strive to offer our members new and better services. In 2015 wesigned an agreement to install a new state of the art core computer system. Scheduledto be live in August of 2016, this new system will allow us better integration with all ofthe products and services we offer. As we move ahead into the future, we need a systemthat will be able to offer delivery channels, products and services our members need andexpect from their primary financial institution. Developed by one of the leaders in ourindustry, this new system utilizes open architecture which allows easy integration withnew systems and third party vendors. Our current core system is over 30 years old andwhile there have been many upgrades, it is difficult to integrate new services.

Overall we had a very good year. We welcomed the following employee groups to ourfamily of members: Beacon Media, Cloud Creations, Huntington Medical ResearchInstitute, Plumbing Wholesale Outlet, Smart Risk and Total Quality Consulting. We addedover 700 new members in 2015. Lending was up as we continue to see increaseddemand from our members for Auto and Home loans. Interest rates continue to be athistoric low levels but we feel 2016 will undoubtedly see rising rates as our economycontinues to improve and consumer confidence improves. The job market also continuesto improve. It is becoming more difficult to find qualified employees as we haveopenings here at PFCU. We do hire entry level as well as skilled employees throughoutthe year and encourage our members to let friends and family know about theopportunity for employment. We post open positions on our website at PFCU.org.

Finally, I want to thank our over 10,000 loyal members who constantly give us kind notesand words of appreciation. Our employees work hard to make sure our members have agood experience when conducting business with PFCU. They appreciate the recognitionand we regularly share your comments in our monthly staff meetings. Feel free tocontact us at any time. We are here to serve our members and your feedback isinvaluable. 2016 will be a busy and exciting year and we look forward to serving you andthe communities we work in. Have a Great New Year!
