“This is the largest number of companies to qualify for the list since we began

producing it in 2005,” said Craig Johnson, managing editor for Staffing Industry

Analysts. “The 2014 list exemplifies the changing nature of the staffing industry

landscape.”

To qualify for the list, staffing firms had to post at least $1 million in revenue in

2009 and have compound annual revenue growth of at least 15 percent between

2009 and 2013. Revenue included U.S. staffing and talent engagement revenue.

Staffing Industry Analysts defines staffing revenue as revenue from providing

temporary workers to business clients, as well as from the “place & search” services

of direct hire/permanent placement and retained search. Talent engagement

revenue is defined as Professional Employer Organization (PEO) net revenue,

Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) revenue, payrolling net revenue, online

staffing revenue and Managed Service Provider (MSP) fee revenue. About Staffing Industry Analysts
