Broadspire® Executives Present at the 2014 Integrated Benefits Institute Forum 

 

ATLANTA (March 7, 2014) — Broadspire® executives presented at the Integrated Benefits Institute (IBI) 

2014 Annual Forum, which was held March 3‐5, 2014 at The Fairmont in San Francisco, Calif. Founded in 

1997, the IBI is an independent nonprofit organization in health and productivity that provides data, 

research and tools to professionals to make sound decisions in how they invest in the health of their 

workforces. Broadspire is a leading third‐party administrator of workers compensation claims, liability 

claims and medical management services.  

 

On Tuesday, March 4 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Jacob Lazarovic, M.D., FAAFP, senior vice president 

and chief medical officer, Broadspire, Greg Smith, Broadspire medical services account executive and 

Peg Haennicke, consultant, Crawford & Company, participated in a panel discussion on the topic of 

“How BASF Tapped the ‘Power of Choice’ to Keep Employees from Being Lost in the Maze of Absence 

Management and Disability Programs.” During the discussion, the Broadspire panelists, along with 

Brenda Failla, manager, Leave of Absence for BASF Corporation, shared how a successful partnership 

with BASF provided solutions for both the employer and their employees in the navigation of their 

absence management and disability program.
