Use a Chemical name or CAS Registry Number for Quick and Easy Searching

From the ChemACX Home Page, chemists can simply enter the chemical name or CAS Registry Number for the substance

they are looking for and ChemACX will search the database providing results for all suppliers, showing the purity, price and

pack size information for each product that each supplier

provides for that substance. It is also possible to search

for lists of CAS Registry Numbers from the Advanced

Search screen.

Integrate with ChemDraw for Sophisticated

Structure Searching

The real power in ChemACX comes from integration

with ChemDraw from PerkinElmer Informatics. Chemists

can use the ChemDraw tools to draw the desired struc-

ture and then perform different types of searches based

on the drawing:

• Exact search will find the result that exactly matches

the structure in the drawing.

• A substructure search, the most popular, will find all compounds that contain the structure in the drawing.

Results can be presented in a table or a tile view that allows user to drill down to specific catalogue entries.

• A full structure search is similar to the Exact Search, but it will also find any isotopic variants of the exact structure, and

optionally the exact structure combined with other entities like salts or solvates.

• Chemists who are looking for ideas can also use a similarity search that will deliver results for structures contain similarities

to the structure in the drawing.

ChemACX can also be integrated with E-Notebook

and Inventory from PerkinElmer Informatics for

immediate access to available chemicals when they

are needed in the chemist’s workflow.
