Manage Phones

PROGNOSIS maintains an inventory of all phones so if you’re experiencing phone-related problems you can search for them by name, extension or extension range. Once they’re located you can drill down for deeper troubleshooting using the IP and MAC address information for each phone.

Manage Voice Quality

PROGNOSIS collects rich information about voice quality including the source and destination address, call duration, MOS and any impairment factors. This information can be used to analyze trends in voice quality as well as for capacity planning.

Manage Servers

PROGNOSIS monitors your IP-PBX performance giving you statistics on CPU activity, available memory, active software and processes.

Information on storage used and available capacity means you can be sure that your server can support its current VoIP load and has sufficient capacity for growth.

PROGNOSIS monitors and alerts on hardware utilization such as CPU, memory and disk as well as network traffic on interfaces. If there are insufficient resources resulting in dropped calls and poor voice quality, PROGNOSIS will alert administrators to hardware capacity issues.

Analyze network Information

PROGNOSIS provides network statistics including TCP, IP, and UDP interface speed and percentage utilization of transmit and receive capacity. Information such as retransmitted segments rate per second helps you identify and resolve

network performance issues that may affect voice quality, dial tone failure or general call setup.
