1. Printout of the online application.
2. Copy of any latest Photo ID proof (Aadhar Card/Driving License, Passport, Voter
Card)
3. Printout of downloaded AIA-PGET -2020 result.
4. Nationality certificate/valid Passport, Domicile Certificate or School Leaving
Certificate of (SSC)/HSC. Indicating the nationality of the candidate as “Indian”
5. Certificate of Age (matriculation SSC passing Certificate/Valid Passport)
6. All Detail Marks Cards of B.A.M.S (D.M.C), B.H.M.S (D.M.C).
7. Internship Completion Certificate from the Head of the Institution/University.
8. B.A.M.S./B.H.M.S Degree/Passing Certificate.
9. Registration Certificate.
10. Certificate pertaining to any reserve Category such as Caste Certificate, Caste Validity
Certificate, for Person with disability (PWD) Candidate, Economically Weaker Section
(EWS) etc.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO BE NOTED
1. Candidates are required to go through the Prospectus carefully and acquaint
themselves.
2. Candidates can apply for Counselling only in online mode.
3. Prospectus can be downloaded from the University website i.e. www.graupunjab.org
4. Online submission of Application Form may be made by accessing University website
i.e. www.graupunjab.org
5. Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the Prospectus and University
website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
6. Candidates must retain the following documents with them as reference for future
correspondence.
a. At least 2 printouts of online submitted application form.
b. Proof of fee paid.
c. 3 Copies of latest (taken after 01-09-2020) identical Photograph (should be passport
size with white background) that scanned and uploaded on the Online Application
form.
7. Photograph should not bear any cap or goggles. Spectacles are allowed if being used
regularly. POLAROID and COMPUTER generated photos are not acceptable.
Applications not complying with these instructions or with unclear photographs are
liable to be rejected. Candidates may please note that if it is found that photograph
affixed is fabricated i.e. de-shaped or seems to be hand-made or computer made, the
form of the candidate will be rejected and the same would be considered as using unfair
means practices and candidate would accordingly be dealt with the rules of unfair
means.
8. Please visit our website www.graupunjab.org for all regular and updated information
concerning Admission to MD (Ayurveda),MD (Homoeopathy) and Date of counseling
from time to time.
10. Candidate must ensure that mobile numbers, E-mail address filled in the online
application form are his/her own, as University will make communications by SMS or
mail on given mobile number and mailing ID only. The Candidate himself/herself shall
be held responsible for non-receipt of latest information due to wrong mobile number or
mailing address filled in the online Application form.
11. Fee can be remitted online on University website through Debit Card or Credit
Card. Fee shall not be accepted in any other mode. Candidature will be cancelled,
who fails to deposit requisite fee.
12. Fee once deposited in the University account shall not be refunded/adjusted in any case.
13. Notwithstanding the participation of candidates in AIA-PGET-2020, only eligible
candidates, as per Government notification/s, shall be considered for admission.
14. In case of any discrepancy or contradiction between the Government notification/s and
the University instructions contained in the prospectus, the letter and the spirit of the

notification/s shall be prevailing however in academic matters the University shall be the
final authority.

16. 15% seats are of All India Quota and remaining 85% seats are of State Quota.
17. Candidates applying for 15% of All India Quota seats may go through the guidelines for
All India Quota Private UG & PG seats for academic year 2020-21 on page number 43 to
46.

1. Any change in the schedule of Counselling/Admission will be notified through
University website i.e.www.graupunjab.org
2. Eligibility conditions for admissions are governed by the Government of Punjab,
Department of Medical Education & Research, vide Notification No. No. 2/109/2011-
5HB-III 7059 Dated 24.10.2018 and as per instructions of Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of
India.
3. Candidates are advised to read the prospectus carefully before filling and submitting the
ONLINE Admission Application FORM for admission to MD (Ayurveda) and
MD(Homoeopathy).
4. An error in filling of ONLINE Admission APPLICATION FORM may result in
rejection of such an Application Form. Corrections in the information given by the
candidate in the ONLINE Admission APPLICATION FORM may not be
permitted.
5. The Schedule of Admission/Counseling shall be notified through the Press or University,
website. Changes, if any, in the schedule/timetable of Counseling etc. will be notified
through email/website of the University i.e. www.graupunjab.org. No separate
intimation letters will be sent.
6. Eligibility conditions for admissions are given in the Prospectus.
7. Candidates must retain this Prospectus with them till admission process is over. Read and

1. INTRODUCTION
Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Punjab, Hoshiarpur was created with the promulgation
of the Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Punjab Act, 2009 (Punjab Act No. 4 of 2010)
by the Punjab Legislative Assembly. This University regulates the conduct of both
undergraduate and postgraduate Ayurvedic, Homeopathic and Unani teaching in 21
affiliated colleges in the State of Punjab..
This University is one of its own kinds in North India. It is presently poised for a
quantum leap in development and progress. The foundation stone of university campus
was laid on 9. 10. 2011 by Sardar Parkash Singh Ji Badal, Hon’ble Chief Minister of
Punjab and the administrative Block of University Campus in village Kharkan, Near
Hoshiarpur and just 10 km from Hoshiarpur city was inaugurated by Sh. Vijay Sampla,
Hon’ble Minister of State, Social Justice and Social Welfare, Government of India on
19.04.2016 . It will bring about major development in AYUSH and all basic, clinical and
allied departments to pursue on education and research. It will attract appropriate talent
from all over the country to work in its faculties. It will shortly start new AYUSH
courses.
Admissions to various post graduate courses in the affiliated institutions of this
University in the State of Punjab are made on merit basis of AIA-PGET-2020.
This prospectus is for admission to MD (Ayurveda) courses available in Govt. Ayurvedic
College, Patiala, Babe Ke Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, V.P.O-Daudhar, Distt-Moga
(Pb.), Dayanand Ayurvedic College, Jalandhar and MD(Homoeopathy) courses available in Shri
Guru Nanak Dev Homoeopathy Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana for the session 2020.

GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 The Government of Punjab vide Notification No. 2/109/2011-5HB-III 7059 has ordered
the Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Punjab, to hold process of admission to MD
(Ayurveda) courses in Govt Ayurved College, Patiala, Babe Ke Ayurvedic Medical
College & Hospital, V.P.O-Daudhar, Distt-Moga (Pb.) and Dayanand Ayurvedic College,
Jalandhar and to MD(Homoeopathy) courses in Shri Guru Nanak Dev Homoeopathy
Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana

Govt. of India.
3. RESERVATION Govt. Institute and Private Institute
The reservation of seats shall be as under:-
i) SC/ST 25%
ii) Backward Classes/OBC 10%
iii) Physically Handicapped 5%
iv) Economically Weaker Sections for Govt. college only (As per State Government and Govt. of India)

4. ELIGIBILITY
MD(Ayurveda)
A person possessing the Degree in Ayurved of a University or Board or Medical
Institution specified in the second schedule to the Act notified by the Department of
AYUSH, Govt. of India/CCIM, shall be eligible for admission in the Postgraduate degree
course.
MD(Homoeopathy)
Regular internal candidates:
No candidate shall be admitted to MD (Homoeopathy) course unless he/she possesses the
degree of
a) Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (Direct Degree) or equivalent
qualification in homoeopathy included in the Second Schedule to the Homoeopathy
Central Council Act,1973(59 of 1973):
b) Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (Graded degree) or equivalent
qualification in Homoeopathy included in the Second Schedule to the Homoeopathy
Central Council Act, 1973(59 of 1973):
Note: Please check Notification of Govt. of India, Ministry of AYUSH on page no.
32-33 for instructions regarding last date of Compulsory Rotatory Internship.
5) FEE REQUIRED WITH ONLINE APPLICATION FORM:
a) Rs. 5000/-(Rs. 3000/- SC/ST) to be deposited online by using Debit card or Credit
card through University website i.e. www.graupunjab.org by due date and time
for State Quota Candidates.
b) Rs. 2000/- to be deposited online by using Debit card or Credit card through
University website i.e. www.graupunjab.org by due date and time for All India
Quota Candidates.
c) Fee once deposited in University account will not be refunded/adjusted.

6. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO FILL ONLINE ADMISSION
APPLICATION FORM.
i) Before applying, candidate should carefully read PROSPECTUS for eligibility
conditions and other important conditions.
ii) Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. Submitting more than one
application by a candidate is liable to be rejected.
iii) After filling online application form by candidate, University will issue a unique
Registration Id. Registration Id (i.e. login Id will be provided to the candidate at
his/her registered Mobile Number through SMS and email.
v) Candidate should apply online on or before 03.01.2021. After this online
application form will not be available at the University website and no request
will be entertained in this regard.
vi) Date should be filled in the format of dd/mm/yyyy i.e. date/month/year.
viii) Registration Id is mandatory for further process, so keep it secret and won’t
disclose to any unknown person.
x) How to upload photograph, Signature- You have to login by entering your
Registration Id. The size of photograph, Signature, should not be more than 25KB
respectively. Candidate may use third party software i.e.
http://www.shrinkpictures.com to resize their photograph, Signature, before
uploading.
xi) Save Application: To get printout of your online application form you have to
save your application. Once you save and proceed you will not be able to edit
your application data, so be ensured that you have entered correct data
particularly check your Name, Date of Birth, categories etc. before save &
proceed.
xii) Go to Registration part II. Thereafter make payment online. After successful
payment, print out will be possible
xiii) Candidates are advised to always Logout your application form when you are
leaving the computer.

Note: Please fill your valid mobile number and email address to receive information
regarding your application form time to time in the form of SMS and Email. You
will also receive your Registration Id on your given mobile number and email
address.
Important: No request will be entertained for any change in the application form.
7. MERIT LIST
The University will prepare a list of the applicants for admission out of the successful
candidates in the order of merit based on the AIA-PGET-2020 Rank and the provisions of
the Punjab Government Notification No. 2/109/2011-5HB-III 7059 dated 24.10.2018
and corrigendum issued from time to time and subsequent notifications in this regard
for the purpose of allotment of seats in the different courses/institutions by personal
appearance of the candidates before Selection Committee.
8. CHOICE OF THE SUBJECTS
The candidate can apply for more than one specialty and he would be considered as per
his/her merit on the basis of AIAPGET-2020.
(a) When two or more candidates have secured equal marks in the AIAPGET-2020 than
inter-se-merit shall be determined as under:-
i. Candidate with higher marks in qualifying examination. ii. Candidate older in age
9. COUNSELLING
1. Counselling for admission to MD(Ayurveda) and MD(Homoeopathy) will be offline and
physical appearance of candidate is necessary as per the schedule given in the prospectus or
available at University website.
2. After provisional allotment of seat, if candidate does not report to the allotted college within
stipulated time, his/her seat would be vacated automatically and included in the vacancy position
for next subsequent counseling's.
3. For claims on reserved seats/categories/quotas wherever applicable, the candidates must support
their claim by attaching self attested photocopies of appropriate certificate(s)/documents issued

by competent authority as per specimens given in Annexures to this prospectus. Original
certificates/documents shall have to be produced by the candidate at the time of counselling at
counselling venue.
4. The fee structure for the Government/Privately managed colleges is as per Punjab Government
notification(s). If later on Punjab Government issues any amendment/corrigendum for change in
fee structure that will be applicable in letter and spirit.
10. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATE
a) In case any candidate is found to have furnished false information or certificate, etc,
or is found to have withheld or concealed information in his/her application form
he/she shall be debarred from admission to the centre.
b) Any attempt by a candidate to influence, directly or indirectly, any person concerned
with the admission will disqualify him/her.
c) The claim for seat under reserved category/ categories should be made by filling
appropriate column in the online Admission Application Form. The candidate must
support this claim by attaching attested photocopies of the certificate(s) by the
competent authority as per specimens given in Annexures to this prospectus.
Original certificates shall have to be produced by the candidates at the time Physical
Counselling in University.
d) Specimens of various certificates to be submitted by the candidate are at Annexures-
1,2,3 & C.
e) The Fee can be remitted online on University website through Debit Card or Credit
Card. Fee shall not be accepted in any other mode. Candidature will be cancelled,
who fails to deposit requisite fee.
11. Fee
The Institute will charge the fee as per instruction issued by Punjab Government as well
as Guru Ravidas Ayurvedic University Punjab, Hoshiarpur time to time. The fee will be
payable on annual basis. In case of NRI the candidate may furnish a bank guarantee.

IMPORTANT EVENTS
1. Online Registration
a. Read Prospectus, Punjab Government Notification, Ministry of AYUSH
instructions as incorporated in the Prospectus for eligibility and other conditions.
b. Create account at University website i.e. www.graupunjab.org Candidate will be
issued Unique Registration ID.
c. The information desired to be filled in the online application such as applicant
name and date of birth, name of applicants father/mother with correct spellings as
per class 10th certificate.
d. Deposit application fee through Payment Gateway Available.
e. Upload latest photograph (25 kb Size) of applicant and signature
f. The candidates must ensure that all information filled in the application form is
correct specifically date of birth, spellings of name, father/mother's name and
categories claimed.
2. Counselling
Counselling will be offline and as per Punjab Government Notification, Ministry of
AYUSH and dates of counselling will be notified later on University Website i.e.
www.graupunjab.org.
