objectives

Design, manufacturing and installation of a complete winching solution at the front bumper (4 tons winch, fixing plate, hydraulic kit). This solution was developed to perfectly suit the vehicle and ensure performance and safety during operations.

Our engineers developed a fixing plate and integrated the winch on it. This interface became a standard fixing kit for IVECO Daily models. STARTER design office also developed the whole hydraulic kit: pump, hoses, tank, filters and electrical control from the cabin. The solution includes an independent hydraulic system (pumps, hoses, tanks, filters and electrical control) that perfectly fits the destination vehicle. The winch can be controlled from the outside of the vehicle by easy access lever, but also from the cabin by electric command system.

After design and computer simulation, dynamic load testing was performed on rigs and full-scale on the firts production in order to validate the strength of all mechanical components.

The vehicle is used on difficult access terrain for emergency interventions on power lines and other power supply fields.
