Khan arrived in Jacksonville after serving as General Manager and a member of the Board of Managers of Bio-Alternative LLC since 2008. The 31-year-old Khan vacated his position at Bio-Alternative in June in order to take on his current role. Under Tony Khan's guidance, the Jaguars created a Football Technology and Analytics group in 2012. In addition to being a valued asset to the coaching and scouting departments, this group also explores new technology and its applications within all areas of the Jaguars organization. These areas include fan experience, player development and injury prevention in addition to game analysis and player evaluation. Khan joined Bio-Alternative in 2007, assisting the Board of Managers with its plans to build a bio refinery in Covington, Ind., which would produce and sell large quantities of biodiesel fuel made from used cooking oils and animal fats. Until his departure in 2012 Khan oversaw the construction and start-up of the bio refinery, which has produced and sold hundreds of thousands of gallons of biodiesel in the past year. Khan graduated from the College of Business at the University of Illinois in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. Khan grew up in Champaign-Urbana, Ill., where he was born on October 10, 1982. He graduated from the University of Illinois Laboratory High School in 2001, where his graduating class had the highest ACT average of any class at any school in America. He was also an Illinois State Scholar and a National Merit Semifinalist. The award for dedication to the basketball program at University High is known as the Tony Khan Award. Khan currently serves on the advisory board of the University of Illinois Lab- oratory High School. He is single and lives in Champaign-Urbana and Jack- sonville. Tim Walsh was named the Jaguars' Director of Football Administration in 2007. He is in his 18th year with the Jaguars organization and works closely with General Manager David Caldwell and Head Coach Gus Bradley. Walsh’s responsibilities include managing the Jaguars salary cap, developing the Jaguars strategic planning, crafting contract proposals and parameters, negotiating player contracts and budgeting and coordinating the Jaguars compliance with the NFL's Collective Bargaining Agreement and NFL Player Personnel rules. Walsh started his NFL career in 1996 with the NFL Management Council, for which he monitored the league-wide salary cap and analyzed NFL player con- tracts. Walsh graduated summa cum laude in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and earned his master's degree in sport management from the University of Richmond. He is a member of the Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2012. A veteran of 23 years in law enforcement, Richardson joined the Jaguars on July 21, 1995. He directs every phase of security for the team, as well as handling security matters involving the NFL office. He works closely with lo- cal, state and federal law enforcement agencies. He was a member of the NFL security task force that was established after September 11, 2001. Richardson also worked with Paul Tagliabue's staff regarding security for Super Bowl XXXIX in Jacksonville. Richardson was previously a police S.W.A.T. team supervisor for the Jackson- ville Sheriff's Office and planned security for all special events held in Jack- sonville, such as the annual Florida-Georgia game, the Gator Bowl and the Jazz Festival. Richardson retired as a supervisor from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office in 1995. He received a degree in criminology from Florida State University. A native of Jacksonville, Richardson is active in the Police Athletic League. Richardson in past years has been active in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida and the Jacksonville Symphony Guild. He is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security, National Association of Chiefs of Police, Stadium Managers Association and the Florida Association of Licensed Investigators. Hamzah Ahmad is in his second season with the Jaguars after being named the Director of Football Logistics & Facilities in February 2013. He oversees team logistics, which includes home hotel operations, selecting away game hotels and coordinating the team travel for domestic games & London. He is also responsible for the EverBank Field facility as it relates to football. Prior to joining the Jaguars, Ahmad spent the previous eight seasons with the Atlanta Falcons (2005–2012) in various roles, but most recently as the Senior Event Marketing/Travel Advance Coordinator. He began his career as a training camp intern with the Falcons and completed a total of three internships with Atlanta before being hired as a full-time staff member. Ahmad is originally from Pakistan and moved to Jacksonville with his family when he was 12 years old. He attended high school locally at Nease High School and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 2004. Ahmad and his wife, Brandi, have a son named Jayden.

FOOTBALL OPERATIONS

Marcus Pollard is in his second season as Director of Player Development and Youth Football for the Jaguars after being named to the post on March 24, 2013. In his current role, Pollard coordinates all team life skills programming as well as the Jaguars rookie club and NFL Rookie Success Program. In addi-tion, he works closely with players on continuing education, career intern-ships, professional development, employee assistance and financial education.

Pollard played 14 seasons (1995-2008) in the NFL as a tight end and spent time with Indianapolis, Detroit, Seattle, New England and Atlanta. He earned a roster spot in 1995 with the Colts after a tryout during training camp and played in all but six games for the club over a nine-year span from 1996-2004. He went on to play in 192 games with 131 starts and recorded 349 receptions for 4,280 yards and 40 touchdowns.

A native of Lanett, Ala., Pollard played basketball at Bradley University for two years after transferring from Seward County Community College in Liberal, Kan. He did not play collegiate football.

Following his retirement, Pollard served as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Lanett High School, from 2008-12. He and his wife, Amani, were cast members of the reality television show The Amazing Race in 2011. The couple has two sons, Myles Ashton and Micah Jayden, and two daughters, Aja Amani and Ayris Mae.

FOOTBALL OPERATIONS

Zach Beistline is entering his third year with the Jaguars. He began as a football operations intern in 2012 before being hired as a football statistics associate in January 2013. In this role, he works closely with Daniel Adler and Tim Walsh on contract, personnel and coaching matters. Zach graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2012 with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science. He is single and resides in Jacksonville Beach.

Jimmy Luck is entering his second season as the head equipment manager for the Jaguars after being named to the post on January 28, 2013. In his current role, Luck is responsible for overseeing the distribution, safety and mainte-nance of player equipment, daily upkeep of the locker room and coordinating travel logistics for all Jaguars-related equipment on road trips. Prior to joining the club, Luck spent nine seasons (2004-12) as assistant equipment manager for the Atlanta Falcons.

Luck’s tenure with the Falcons also included time with the Georgia Force of the Arena Football League. Prior to joining the Falcons, Luck served as equipment manager in the college ranks for The Citadel in 2003. He began his career in professional football in 2002 when he served as the equipment manager for the AF2’s Charleston Swamp Foxes.

A native of Atlanta, Luck spent three seasons (1996-98) as coordinator of baseball operations for the University of Miami (Fla.). He was a sales rep for Rawlings Sporting Goods, covering Tennessee from 1998 to 2000. Luck gradu-ated from Georgia Tech with a degree in management.

Mike Perkins marks his 21st season with the Jaguars in 2014. His primary role is overseeing the football technology department for football operations, but he has worn many hats since joining the Jaguars in 1994. The football technol-ogy department manages all IT needs for the football side of the organization.

After 18 years as the Jaguars’ video director, Perkins was promoted in 2012 to his new role as director, football technology. Perkins’ duties included the design and construction of the Jaguars’ locker room upgrade at EverBank Field, in addition to design, planning and implementation of office space and tech-nology for the football facilities.

In 2013, he served as project manager for phase two of the construction, bringing a new training room, rehab room and coaches offices on-line. He also oversaw the design and construction of the new Jaguars football facilities. An-other new initiative under Perkins’ direction was the implementation of iPads for use by all coaches, scouts and players to view practice and game video. His group is also incorporating a new scouting system with the iPad implementa-tion to increase efficiency.

Perkins’ responsibilities continue to include the shooting, compiling and ed-iting of all game and practice video for coaches’ and scouting analysis, cata-loging NFL and college game video and producing “cut-ups.” He also manages all video equipment and design of the Jaguars’ video department, including applying the team’s state-of-the art XOS editing system, and researching new technologies as they come available.

One of six current staff members who joined the franchise in 1994, Perkins was hired by the Jaguars on May 12, 1994, after serving as video coordinator for three years at Syracuse University. Prior to that, he served with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as assistant video director from 1987-90. Perkins was born May 24, 1967, in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Perkins and his wife, Jennifer, and sons Tyler and Barrett live in Jacksonville.

Scott Trulock was hired as the Jaguars head athletic trainer on February 10, 2014. Trulock, who spent the past seven seasons as the head athletic trainer for the University of North Carolina’s football program, joined the Jaguars with 11 years of NFL experience. As the head athletic trainer for UNC’s foot-ball program since 2007, Trulock oversaw a staff of two full-time assistants and two graduate assistants. Trulock was tasked with maintaining the health of Carolina’s football student-athletes and rehabilitating injuries quickly and successfully.

Trulock began his career in the NFL as an assistant athletic trainer with the Philadelphia Eagles from 1996-98. Trulock then worked for the San Diego Char-gers from 1999-2001 before joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the director of rehabilitation from 2002-03. Trulock won a Super Bowl ring in 2002 when the Buccaneers defeated the Raiders in Super Bowl XXXVII. Trulock spent three seasons (2004-06) as an assistant athletic trainer with the Denver Broncos. During his tenure in the NFL, Trulock was a member of the Professional Football Athletic Trainers’ Society (PFATS). In the PFATS, Trulock served as the director of research for the research and education foundation. In this role, Trulock was responsible for spearheading the surveillance of injury data in order to estab-lish trends in injury patterns to NFL players. Additionally, Trulock presented this information at many local, state and national meetings.

Trulock received his master’s degree in athletic training from UNC in 1996. Re-turning to Carolina as the football program’s head athletic trainer in 2007 pre-sented Trulock with the opportunity to re-join one of the top sports medicine programs in the country. As an advocate for research dating back to his days in the master’s program, Trulock utilized the full complement of physicians, faculty and researchers in the sports medicine department to provide cutting edge healthcare for UNC’s football student-athletes.

Trulock, a native of Orlando, Fla., earned his undergraduate degree in sports medicine from Valdosta State in 1994. Scott and his wife Jamie, have two daughters, Corinne and Riley.

Dr. Kevin Kaplan is in his second season as the Jaguars’ head team physician after serving as the Jaguars’ associate Orthopaedic Surgeon from 2009-2013. He is responsible for all orthopaedic matters dealing with injuries to the mus-culoskeletal system.

Dr. Kaplan is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery with a specialty certifi-cation in Sports Medicine and maintains a private practice at the San Marco location of the Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute. He completed orthopae-dic residency at the New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases and a fellowship at the Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. During his fellowship, Dr. Kaplan served as an assistant team physician for the Los An-geles Lakers, Dodgers, Kings, and Anaheim Ducks. He is a member of the NFL Physician Society, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Kaplan is also a team physician for the Jacksonville Sharks, Jacksonville University, University of North Florida, and Atlantic Coast High School.

Dr. Michael Yorio is in his first season as the team’s internal medicine physi-cian. He is responsible for all matters dealing with illnesses and non-ortho-paedic injuries.

Dr. Yorio is board certified in Internal Medicine and Sports Medicine. He sees patients at the San Marco office of Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute. Prior to arriving in Jacksonville, Dr. Yorio served as the Director, Player Medical Ser-vices for the US Open Tennis Championships in Flushing Meadows, NY. He was also Team Physician for the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League, and has served as Team Physician for the University of Maryland at College Park, Hofstra University, and Molloy College. Dr. Yorio serves as a volunteer member of the United States Tennis Association Sports Science Committee and the Wheelchair Tennis Committee.
