Filtration is a key component in processing sugar beets into usable components. Our filters are used in many steps in the process, such as water filtration, mud-dewatering and juice clarification. Our filters are also used in the desugaring of molasses by both the Steffen process and the chromatographic processes.

Durco Filters Pressure Nutsches are ideal for piloting of new or modified batch operation and/or processes requiring recovery of process solids as dry or wet cake. They have the following benefits:

High-fructose corn syrup comprises any of a group of corn syrups that has undergone enzymatic processing to convert some of its glucose into fructose to produce a desired sweetness. It has become very common in processed foods and beverages including breads, cereals, breakfast bars, lunch meats, yogurts, soups, and condiments.
