Cost effective milk screening solution
Randox Food Diagnostics offer excellent tools for screening of antimicrobials and growth hormones in milk. Excellent limits of detection and simple sample preparations can be obtained using either ELISA screening or the unique multi-analyte screening, our patented Biochip Array Technology.
Randox presents the world’s only multi-analyte quantitative Drug Residue analyser, the Evidence Investigator. The use of the Evidence Investigator allows simultaneous detection of multiple antibiotics from a single sample. The system utilises Randox patented Biochip Array Technology. Generally the milk sample will only require a simple dilution prior to application, enhancing the already user-friendly protocol.This unique multi-analyte testing platform will reduce labour costs, increase throughput and guarantee overall productivity improvement.

One step sample preparation
Simple and rapid milk preparation using the Randox antimicrobial arrays
1. Centrifuge milk sample at 2880rcf for 10 minutes and dilute if required
2. Apply buffers/calibrators/ samples/controls to the applicable biochip wells
3. Incubate for 30minutes using our customised thermoshaker
4. Apply detection labelled conjugate to the applicable biochip wells
5. Incubate for 60 minutes using our customised thermoshaker
6. Perform six wash steps on each biochip to remove any unbound material
7. Apply chemiluminescent substrate to each biochip well
8. Measure light output using the Evidence Investigator analyser to obtain results
