Various types of seating including chairs, banquet and booth types. This seating should be free of FAR and good air-conditioning scheme be thought of for these areas. The tables should be dues/quads; circular tables are not preferred. Split level may be considered for zoning seating areas and also thus, different kinds of seat types and colours of seat may be explored. Split levels will also help in laying plumbing services underneath and may make easy accessibility to wet points. A good floor-to-floor height preferable not less than 4.5 m. This may be interspersed with design feature like lots of vegetation, dry/frozen palms or other theme elements. An Express Lift (dedicated) for ‘Home Delivery’ operations connecting to the Lower Ground Floor / Basement Stores to be provisioned from the Food Court level. At least one separate Freight Lift be also provisioned for other Food Court Tenants. The Food Court shall be located adjacent to the Theatres/Cinemas with direct visibility and in the primary circulation to the Cinemas. The exits from all the theatres should let visitors flow back and irrigate the Food Court. Location of Kiosks (60 sq.ft .each) at suitable locations (preferable with full service & wet points); also at the main entry points into the food court. All waste to be pass through Grease Traps; the same be identified and provided by Projects. 40 seats to a tenancy as a thumbrule to look at seating area versun the number of tenants. Storage areas / Change Rooms / Locker rooms for the Food Court staff be planned out suitable during planning stages. This area required shall be about 2500 sq.ft. Loading / Unloading deck at the Food Court store areas in Basement / Lower Ground floor needs to be provided that may allow the circulation of service wagons at all times. Audio-Visual Systems like Projector Screens / LCDs / Plasmas and areas like Band Stand be identifie on food court layout as well. Terraces are welcomed as part of the Food Court layout. Seating Areas include the dining covers, public area circulation etc. Tenancy Areas include the FOH & BOH of Food Tenants, DishWash areas, restricted areas & its circulation like service corridors Atleast 2 nos. public escalators / lifts should get the guests into the Food Court.
