Takeover of the company by the LANG-FERRY family and Mr. André LANG took in charge the direction of the company for half a century.

Installation of two electric medium frequency furnaces with a capacity of 16 tons.

A variety of other metallurgical developments and mass production of GJS400-18 LT at -50°C, ADI cast iron and GJS500-14 and GJS600-10 high silicon cast iron mechanical parts.

Two electric medium frequency furnaces with a capacity of 8 tons complement the already installed capacity for fusion.

FBM operates in a number of different sectors for the customers focused

on an optimum performance requirement.

The powerful and flexible industrial equipment allows FONDERIES DE BROUSSEVAL

ET MONTREUIL to provide cast iron parts with weights ranging from 0.5 kg to 9 tons

in a wide range of grades, either individually unit or for small, medium or large production runs.

OUR MATERIALS

GJS cast iron with the acronym LT is cast iron called “low temperatures” and is designed for harsh, industrial applications with used temperature below 0°C up to -40°C even -50°C. The above KCV values are obtained at mentioned temperatures.
