My favourite verses are from Isaiah 43:18 ‘Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19) See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland’. "We limit God, we look through the eyes of the world. Where you are is the place where God placed you. THIS is the moment. I asked God: ‘What is your will for me?’ It’s right where I am. We are supposed to be dynamic Christians! God has given me a chance to serve this church that I love so much! Mini Synods Yesterday the following six Mini Synods had planning sessions: Service and Witness, Congregational Ministry, Proclamation and Worship, Publication, Judicial Matters and Finance. May these discussions be of great help to determine our Synod’s vision and mission for the future. (Photo: Service and Witness in session) New Scriba Synodi We congratulate the newly-elected Scriba Synodi, Rev. Hendry Tromp. He is minister of the URCSA Gelvandale Congregation in PE. Up till now he was chairperson of the Child and Youth Ministry of the Cape Regional Synod. May God bless and strengthen you in your service to the Church with her many challenges. Ons jongste waarnemer Hier is ons jongste waarnemer by die Sinodesitting: Cheralle Faroa (6 jaar). By haar is haar ma, Suster Esmeralda Faroa, al die pad van Calvinia. Hierdie ses aktiwiteitsboeke bied aan jong kinders selfdoen-aktiwiteite gegrond op sleuteltekse in die Ou en die Nuwe Testament van die Bybel. Elke boek bevat 15 Bybelstories uit die Ou of die Nuwe Testament en meegaande aktiwiteite. Die aktiwiteite sluit in: ontdek-die-verskille, inkleurprente, vind-die-paadjie en kleur-volgens-die- nommers-in. Deur hierdie aktiwiteite leer ken die kinders op ʼn prettige manier 90 stories uit die Ou en die Nuwe Testament wat ʼn belangrike rol in ons geloofsvorming speel. 16 bladsye elk. Inspiring speech by the Moderator

The new Moderator, Dr MacMaster inspired the meeting yesterday: "How do we make sense of where we are? Mini Synods

Yesterday the following six Mini Synods had planning sessions: Service and Witness, Congregational
