Elaborating the theme, hesaid: "It's not just thecompetition one has to workon in the industry but alsothink of who is getting to thefuture first." He said that forAIMA it was a year to celebrateas well as think of its future and
how to link it closer to India'sfuture. "It is said that onlychange is constant but thepace of change is alsochanging. And this rapidchange is giving us enormousopportunities and at the sametime some completely newchallenges," he added.
Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITIAayog, Government of India,said that we are in the midst ofbiggest technologicaltransitions the world has everseen and we need to pushthese limits in many areas. Butwe cannot grow withoutgender parity; predictability,consistency, and clarity ofpolicies over a long period oftime; and penetration into theglobal market. "India needs tohave optimism, courage, gutsand determination to push for
change and that changethrough technology will enableIndia to grow rapidly," heasserted.
Earlier, Sudhir Jalan, Co-Chairman, Diamond JubileeNMC and Chairman, NeoFoods Pvt. Ltd., and RekhaSethi, Director General, AllIndia Management Association,addressed the audience.
