Scenario

Project Objectives What are the reasons for the project proposal? What does this project involve? Who is the client? Who are the target audience? Why would your target audience be interested with your final finished product?The Sky Sports website has commissioned me to create a new blog that will review sport games and news that they can post on their website under their popular ‘blogs and opinion’ section. This will involve me create a blog and posting on there, either reviewing sporting events/games or news headlines. The target audience will be sport enthusiasts that visit there site often. The target audience would be interested in the final product due to the fact that the blog will give a fresh view on what’s going on in the world of sport and with a personal opinion they have yet to hear.

Scope What do you need to do achieve the project? Are there any time constraints? Any there any limitations?What I need to do to achieve the project is to organise everything professionally and keep on track to completing the project before the deadline. Also I will need to keep on top of all the blog posts and make sure they are all posted on the dates I set to publish them. A limitation is that I will be covering both UK and American sports, therefore some of the American sports will be shown, and I will only be able to watch them, late at night due to the time difference between UK and America.

Content to consider In order to undertake the project, what content do you need to cover? Are there any special skills / knowledgeTo undertake the project I will cover sports from both the UK and US (which will primarily be Football (UK version of the sport) and NBA basketball). This will require me to have extensive knowledge about each sport. Alongside this I will need captivating writing skills, obviously to keep the readers happy and reading what I am writing.

Major Deliverables What will this project entail to? What will be your final end project? My final project will be a fully designed blog that will contain posts, either daily or as too close to as possible, which are interesting and educational as well as entertaining for all sports enthusiasts to read.
