PaPa Tony

The best grandfather ever... We will miss sitting with you listening while you teach us life’s lessons. We re-alize just how amazing you were and to us you were a blessing. We loved how you laughed and played with us, you had a great imagination. You taught us to talk to God and always respect His creation. Thanks for the money you gave us when mom and dad wasn’t looking. We will miss the stories you told and all of your good cooking. We hate you had to go, we wish we had you near. We know that if we look in our hearts you are still here.

Love your Grands!

The Other Side

Last night I had a dream… Dad and I were at Lake Martin waiting for the fish. He said, “Baby girl do you know what I wish?”

“I wish...I wish they knew how hard it was for me to leave them this way. Man, ya’ll just don’t know how bad I wanted to stay. But then I opened my eyes and gazed into the beauty of God’s light”. He said, “Tony come walk with me into Paradise! He would take care of ya’ll and you’d be alright.

To My Wife

Never in all my years did I imagine feeling so complete. Know that a love like ours never dies, I’ll be waiting for you at the pearly gates once you reach the other side.

To All of My Sons

I was grateful that I was able to watch the boys I raised become men. When you need me, silence the noise around you and my wisdom will speak from within.

To All of My Girls

You were the twinkle in my eyes and the joy in my smile. I am proud of the women you became. Your Daddy’s love still covers you. I sent many prayers in Jesus name.

To All of My Brothers and Sisters

Ya’ll always watched out for me, kept me safe. You did what siblings do. I know it hurts but trust God’s plan, cause now I am lookin’ out for you.

Yeah, I wish they knew how bad I wanted to stay. I really hated to go. Ya’ll gotta’ quit all this crying like ya’ll won’t see me no mo’.

I’ll be waiting by the gates with my arms stretched open wide, ready to receive you all when you make it To The Other Side.”
