For over forty years, Plasti-Fab has been supplying composite fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) fluid control gates for highly corrosive water environments. All Plasti-Fab Gates totally encapsulate the internal reinforcing structure. All composite gates offer high corrosion resistance, low maintenance, and no need for wall thimbles due their reduced weight characteristics. In addition, they are non-conductive, non-magnetic, and non-binding. Composite FRP material is pound-for-pound much stronger than steel. Plasti-Fab composite equipment is warranted against failure due to corrosion for 25 years.
The Plasti-Fab composite Flap Gates provide low leakage, low maintenance, and low head loss. They are designed
and engineered for maximum effectiveness in corrosive environments. Available in round, square, or rectangular styles, they may be fabricated from flexible Neoprene or rigid Composite FRP. Molded reinforced composite flap gates are lightweight.
Most gates utilize a sandwich construction witha closed-cell polyisocyanurate foam core for highstrength and corrosion resistance.

Plasti-Fab Stop Logs are fabricated using “green” vacuum infusion technology that allows the outer surface to be made in one piece. This means that there are no seams, cracks, or ridges from glued parts that can allow seepage to penetrate the interior support structure causing the log to fail.
