BREAST RECONSTRUCTION SURGERY CADAVERIC TRAINING DAY

Suitable for all surgical trainees with an interest in Breast Surgery.
Tutors are all experienced Consultant Surgeons with 4:1 participant/faculty ratio.
Maximum of 4 delegates per cadaver.
The course will provide hands on experience using fresh/frozen cadaveric material. The programme will include:
• Skin sparing mastectomy
• Implant based breast reconstruction (including device assisted)
• Axillary node dissection
• Latissimus dorsi flap breast reconstruction
This course will be held in the state of the art, Clinical Anatomy Skills Centre (CASC) which is a joint facility run by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and the University of Glasgow
