Floating LiDAR | FLiDARThe AXYS FLiDARs were developed to meet the offshore wind industry’s need for accurate, reliable wind resource assessment data offshore, which is used to:

• Evaluate & assess the energy yield of the wind farm for financing purposes• Support structural design activities for the wind farm• Support construction and installation, as well as operations & maintenance planning

They have been used in over 85% of the world’s floating LiDAR deployments and have supplied data longer and more consistently than any other system.

FLIDAR DESIGNFLiDAR systems are designed with:

• Marine buoy-adapted LiDARs specifically built for long-term offshore deployment• Single or dual-LiDAR configuration option• Industry standard hull designs with a long history of successful deployments in harsh environments• Multiple redundant power supply systems, ensuring long-term operation in the event of failure of

Both options provide clients with accurate data delivered securely through the AXYS-APS platform, a robust and secure web-based portal for controlling a network of systems and sensors, as well as collecting, managing, analyzing, visualizing and disseminating environmental and oceanographic data from AXYS sensor platforms and a variety of other sources.
