Q1.Using dreamweaver create a webpage showing image mapping , hyperlink, email link and

named anchor.

IMAGE MAPPING

Steps for image mapping:

1. Click on insert , then browse and select the image to be selected.2. Enter the file name that has been selected.3. Now, click the any hotspot tool button in the properties inspector, as shown in the figure.4. Drag the rectangle hotspot tool on the image to create a rectangle hotspot.5. Dreamweaver message box appears indicating the user to describe the link, target etc6. Enter the link by browsing the file and the target and save the file.7. Now open the dream weaver file in web browser, the following image will be shown.8. Click where the rectangle hotspot was created, the link i.e. another image or file will be

shown to which the link has been created.

HYPERLINK

Steps for creating hyperlink:

1. Click on insert on the menu bar, then click on the hyperlink option.2. A message box appears to enter the text that has to be created as hyperlink .3. Browse a particular file to enter in link.4. Also enter the target, title, access key and tab index in the message box and click on ok

button.

5. Save the file.6. Open the saved file in the web browser and click on the text, a new file or image will be

shown in the web browser.

NAMED ANCHOR HYPER LINK

Steps for creating named anchor hyperlink:

1. In dream weaver click on insert and select name anchor from the options given in themenu bar.

2. Type the name of the named anchor in textbox and click ok.3. Select the text to set the named anchor.4. Type # and the name of the named anchor in the link text box in the property inspector

and save the file.

5. Open the file in the web browser, click the named anchor text .E-MAIL LINK

Steps for e-mail link:

1. Click on insert , then on e-mail link in the option of the menu bar.2. A e-mail dialogue box appears, enter the text and e-mail textboxes and click ok.3. Open the file in web browser and click on the e-mail link text.4. The required e-mail message box appears.

Q2.Using dreamweaver create a webpage showing rollover image, image placeholders .

IMAGE ROLLOVER

Steps for creating image rollover:

1. Click on insert and select image object and then select image roll over from the option inthe menu bar.

2. Browse images for original image and roll over text boxes and enter alternate key andthen press ok button.

3. Open the saved file in web browser and roll the mouse pointer on the image.4. A new image will be rolled over in the web browser.

IMAGE PLACE HOLDER

Steps for image place holder:

1. Click on insert and select image object and then select image place holder from theoption in the menu bar.

2. An image place holder dialogue box appears, enter the name, width, height, alternate keyand color. Then click ok.

3. Click on the text, enter the link and source for the property inspector and save the file.4. Open the file in web browser and click on the image.5. A new image will be shown in web browser.

Steps for inserting frames:

1. Click on insert in the menu bar.2. Select the option i.e. HTML then frames and then particular type of frame that is to be

inserted.

3. Now properties can be change like borders, borders color, width according to thesuitability.

4. We can also insert images in each individual frames and save the file.5. Open the file in web browser.

Steps for inserting frames:

1. Click on insert in the menu bar.2. Select the option i.e. form then select the form and then particular type of text field that is

to be inserted.

3. Select various buttons , checkboxes, option boxes, menu list, image field, file field etcthat have inserted in the web page and save the file.

4. Open the file in the web browser.
