Please consider me for a teaching position. I am certified in grades 7-12 social studies with an additional endorsement in instrumental and vocal music. I am very proficient with PowerPoint, Prezi, iMovie, Photojournalism, Infinite Campus, Finale Academic, and utilize the foregoing as effective teaching tools in the classroom. I believe I excel at making lessons exciting by making lessons relatable and incorporating technology into the classroom. I see technology as an important tool to enhance instruction and bring content to life.

The teaching experience I will bring to the position is beyond the usual training of an educator. My experience in the District includes: (1) Four years full time teaching. Subjects taught: World History, U.S. History, and Guitar (2) Four years of guest teaching; (3) Sixteen weeks of student teaching.

In addition to my formal teaching experiences in the District, I have taught piano and guitar to children of all ages, coached multiple youth sport’s teams in Las Vegas, and taught at-risk third grade students during a YMCA camp. I can provide multiple references upon request.

Teaching is my passion and I believe I have a lot to offer. I am fully committed to a career as a teacher.
