1. Participants must submit full details for participation in the Competition.

2. In the event of overwhelming responses, entries will be subjected to a selection process by the Organiser. Successful and unsuccessful applicants will be informed within 3 weeks after the closing date.

3. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or re-categorise any category in the event of insu�cient entries. In such cases, participants will be noti�ed accordingly.

4. Each entry will be provided with a tank, aeration and �lter, except for entries in the Betta category (empty tank). For Discus, Guppy, Cichlids and Dragon Fish categories, a heater will be included. Participants are to inform the Organiser of their speci�c requirements on the Entry Form.

5. Participants have to maintain the tanks and equipment in good condition during benching in and benching out. Penalty will be imposed for damages.

6. The Organiser shall engage competent contractors to look after the welfare of the �sh for the duration of the exhibition. However, the Organiser shall not be held responsible for the loss or death of �sh due to natural causes or any unforeseen circumstances.

7. In the event that the Competition is postponed, shortened or extended due to any cause whatsoever beyond the control of the Organiser, the Organiser shall not be held responsible for any loss sustained by the participant, directly or indirectly, attributed to the elements of nature, force majeure or orders and directives imposed by any government authority.

8. Competition �sh must be brought to the competition venue on 28 May 2013 between 2.00pm - 4.00pm (other categories) and 4.00pm - 6.00pm (Discus, Betta, Guppy & Dragon Fish categories). Judging will take place on 29 May 2013 at 1.00pm. No participants are allowed to enter the hall during judging.

9. Once the �sh are accepted and displayed in the exhibition, participants are not allowed to remove any �sh from the tanks.

10. All participants are to collect their �sh from the tanks on 2 June 2013 between 7.00pm and 9.00pm. Competition �sh which are not collected after 9.00pm, 2 June 2013 will be dealt with at Organiser’s discretion.

11. Reputable local and foreign judges have been invited to judge the Fish Competition. The decision of the Chief Judge is �nal and no disputes will be entertained.

12. The “Open” class is strictly for �sh which do not belong to the other classes within that category. Failure to place the �sh in the right class will result in immediate disquali�cation. Participants who are unsure about the right classi�cation of their �sh should contact the Organiser for clari�cation with an accompanying photograph. All clari�cations have to be made prior to the submission of entries.

13. All entries must be accompanied by full payment.

14. O�cial receipt has to be presented upon benching in.

15. Closing date for entries is 8 April 2013. Late entries and on-site registration will NOT be accepted.

16. All entries must be legal specimens certi�ed by the authority of the coutnry of origin. Overseas entries must meet the import/export requirements set by CITES.

17. The organiser shall arrange for an o�cial photographer during the competition. The organiser reserves the right to all o�cial photographs taken during the competition and exhibition period and their subsequent use for publications or otherwise.

1. Participants must submit full details for participation in the Competition.

2. In the event of overwhelming responses, entries will be subjected to a selection process by the Organiser. Successful and unsuccessful applicants will be informed within 3 weeks after the closing date.

3. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or re-categorise any category in the event of insu�cient entries. In such cases, participants will be noti�ed accordingly.

4. Each entry will be provided with a tank, aeration and �lter, except for entries in the Betta category (empty tank). For Discus, Guppy, Cichlids and Dragon Fish categories, a heater will be included. Participants are to inform the Organiser of their speci�c requirements on the Entry Form.

5. Participants have to maintain the tanks and equipment in good condition during benching in and benching out. Penalty will be imposed for damages.

6. The Organiser shall engage competent contractors to look after the welfare of the �sh for the duration of the exhibition. However, the Organiser shall not be held responsible for the loss or death of �sh due to natural causes or any unforeseen circumstances.

7. In the event that the Competition is postponed, shortened or extended due to any cause whatsoever beyond the control of the Organiser, the Organiser shall not be held responsible for any loss sustained by the participant, directly or indirectly, attributed to the elements of nature, force majeure or orders and directives imposed by any government authority.

8. Competition �sh must be brought to the competition venue on 28 May 2013 between 2.00pm - 4.00pm (other categories) and 4.00pm - 6.00pm (Discus, Betta, Guppy & Dragon Fish categories). Judging will take place on 29 May 2013 at 1.00pm. No participants are allowed to enter the hall during judging.

9. Once the �sh are accepted and displayed in the exhibition, participants are not allowed to remove any �sh from the tanks.

10. All participants are to collect their �sh from the tanks on 2 June 2013 between 7.00pm and 9.00pm. Competition �sh which are not collected after 9.00pm, 2 June 2013 will be dealt with at Organiser’s discretion.

11. Reputable local and foreign judges have been invited to judge the Fish Competition. The decision of the Chief Judge is �nal and no disputes will be entertained.

12. The “Open” class is strictly for �sh which do not belong to the other classes within that category. Failure to place the �sh in the right class will result in immediate disquali�cation. Participants who are unsure about the right classi�cation of their �sh should contact the Organiser for clari�cation with an accompanying photograph. All clari�cations have to be made prior to the submission of entries.

13. All entries must be accompanied by full payment.

14. O�cial receipt has to be presented upon benching in.

15. Closing date for entries is 8 April 2013. Late entries and on-site registration will NOT be accepted.

16. All entries must be legal specimens certi�ed by the authority of the coutnry of origin. Overseas entries must meet the import/export requirements set by CITES.

17. The organiser shall arrange for an o�cial photographer during the competition. The organiser reserves the right to all o�cial photographs taken during the competition and exhibition period and their subsequent use for publications or otherwise.
