First Memories

my first memory was when i was two years old. The lobby, lined with red carpet, was filled with the smell of popcorn. My mother took it upon herself to decide that the first theatre movie my sister and I would watch would be a Disney movie. At the time, the newly released movie, The Lion King, seemed the most appropriate. Mom was scared that us toddlers would act up, get reckless, and move around in our seats. We were glued to the screen. The one memorable part of the movie was when Mufasa and Simba laid under the star lit sky. I left that theatre with the feeling that this was the best thing that has ever happened to me. I'm glad that my mom decided that this would be my first movie. in a small way, this movie had changed my life.
