Logging into D2L• Use Google Chrome when accessing D2L. There
are known issues with the Quiz, Dropbox, and Discussions when using other browsers, resulting in incomplete assignments.
• For username, use the first part of your Stallions email address as the user name. For example, if your Stallions email is [email protected], your D2L user name is bbunny3.
Logging into D2L continued
• All first time D2L users will need to create a password before logging in. Please click the “Forgot Password” link and enter your D2L user name (remember to stop prior to the “@” in your Stallions email address). Next, check your Stallions email for a message from “Do Not Reply.” Click the “Reset Password” link to create your password.

Pros and Cons of the Class
• No extra costs
• No printing necessary
• No forced topic choices—you write about what interests you
The good news
More good news
• Minimal time pressure on grades—no paper gets a grade that counts until the end of the term
• You get lots of feedback about your writing
• Most students who come to class and do all the work get a B or an A
• You can’t afford to miss many classes. No one has ever passed who has missed more than two weeks of classes.
• You can’t afford to get behind.
• You have to do all of the work. The work is not crazy insane—but it is steady and substantial
The bad news
The rest of the bad news
• You can’t make up most of the class at the end of the term
• D2L can be annoying—but it’s what we use. You will need to have regular access to a computer or tablet + keyboard for the class
