A Quick Logo Creation

Step 1- Launch Fireworks CS6

300 x 200 Pixels

Step 2- Background (Shape)

USE VECTOR TOOLBOX

OVERSIZE THE SHAPE

Step 3- Add Shape / Use Styles To Customise

Play With Styles

Step 4- I Added Some Text, Increased Size and Used A Style

Step 5- Highlight The Text, Click Modify And Distort

Step 6- I Want A Hat Image For The Logo, Save To z: drive

Step 7- Now Add Hat To Current Document and Use Magic Wand to delete background

MAGIC WAND

Step 8- I Used An Effect To Tidy Perimeter Of Hat

Step 9- I Imported Another Image, Re-Sized (Shift, Mouse) To Reduce The Size + Removed The Background

Step 12- File Type To GIF WebAdaptive

Step 13- Click File, Export Wizard

Click File, Export

Step 14- Click For “The Web” and Continue

Step 15- Read Before You Preview

Step 16a- Preview and Play With Settings? Which is the best one? Why?
