Instructions: 1. Print and assemble spinner. Laminate or place in a protector sleeve for durability.

2. Place Game Board on a foam board.

3. Child spins Spinner #1 to determine the number of toothpick “Quills” to be used.

4. Child spins Spinner #2 to determine which color to insert the toothpick Quills.

5. For example, if they flick a “3” and then “blue” - they would insert 3 toothpicks into 3 blue dots.

6. Complete steps 3 and 4 until all quills have been filled or when desired time elapses.

2 Options to Create Spinner:

1. Place a paperclip in the middle of the circle. Use a pencil with the point/ tip in the middle of the paperclip and flick paperclip with finger.

2. Push a brad through the middle hole and fold at the back of spinner. Place a paperclip onto the brad.

Variations: 1. Have the child move toothpicks from palm to fingers. 2. Have the child pick up multiple toothpicks in the palm of their hand. They will then

move the toothpick one at a time to their fingertips without dropping any. 3. Take turns using the same game board for a group. 4. Print multiple game boards for a group.
