Sunday School Mission Offering UpdateBuilding a Foundation for EducationOur Sunday School students are making a BIG difference in the lives of five students in Honduras and Tanzania. They are using their offering money (September–December) to provide high school scholarships.

In Honduras and Tanzania, not all children have the opportunity to go to school due to extreme poverty and life situations. Education opens many doors for students giving them hope for a brighter future, possible internship and college opportunities, and a better life for their families.

Current offerings: $3,400. Goal: $5,000.

Help the Sunday School reach their goal of providing five scholarships. Give a gift by putting “Sunday School” on the memo of your check.

Family Stress Busters for the Holidays—Part 1Christmas is supposed to be ‘the most wonderful time of the year.’ However, for many it is a time when the busyness ends up making it a stressful time of the year as well. Try the following tips:

f Perform acts of kindness—As a family, choose a way to do something for others—adopt a family in need, ring bells together, find a way to focus on the needs of others.

f Cultivate a sense of humor—Laughter can reduce stress and boost our immune system. Keep everyone in your house healthy by making things fun and enjoyable.

f Set realistic expectations—As a family, choose what is most important and cut out some things. Then, enjoy your time together.
